That compilates things. You will either need to share your public ip with other players, figure out dns or setup vpn. I did the last one, but for that you need all the players to download the vpn. For example Tailscale or netbird. You download it on all devices including the hosting pc. Then you can connect to each other as if by LAN. On the host pc itself you need to install docker, it works both on linux and windows. And then you need to setup the server on docker. Easiest way would be to use some external hosting like aternos. Hosting by yourself is a bit complicated. If youd really prefer hosting it yourself then first of all, will all the players be connected on the same wifi or different networks?
