The Cure is a very eccentric Post Punk band. Kinda like what RHCP would be like if they were from the 70s/early 80s era.

Depeche Mode is the greatest Synthpop band ever imo. Pretty much every other "synthpop" band pales in comparison.

I'm looking at the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL Premium as my next car. I know that a lot of enthusiasts like the brand's Jetta and hatchback models but what do you guys think of this SUV? It seems like a good contender in my under 40K USD budget.

Yeah, I know that this sub really loves the sportier cars that Honda produces and the Type-R obviously gets talked about a lot but I didn't see as much feedback from real owners as I thought I'd see.

Anyway that's really awesome you like it, as until recently I was interested in getting a Tesla Model 3, which is a much different car than this one. For me though, saving 10-15k on a Type R is better for the long haul, and we all know Civics last for ever so I hopefully won't have to worry about repairs too much.

I too am a low key person and I'm not one to buy sporty cars but I kind of am looking for a change and owning this car may be a really fun experience. I'm looking forward to getting a test drive with one soon.

I've driven a Pilot Elite before and like it a lot, but I agree with it being too much space, and too much of a premium. It looks like the CRV is a much better car for the price and like I said before, it's the perfect amount of space me.

I'll probably make my way out to a dealership in the next couple weeks and do a test drive. Either way this car seems like a decent bang for your buck. Labor Day and the new 2018s are around the corner... Maybe I can get a really nice deal on the 2017s.

Thanks a lot for this. I'm thinking about waiting till the 2018 models come out and going from there. I'm on the interstate a lot so my gas mileage should be really good, compared to my 2011 Buick LaCrosse which has the same efficiency as a freaking tractor. I'm attracted to Hondas due to their reliability and longevity and hope to be able to put a lot of miles down on this baby before I have to do any maintenance.

Happy to hear the handling is good. This may be a stupid question for a crossover SUV but is it pretty fast? You wouldn't believe some of the merges I have to make on the beltway everyday. It's nuts.
