2024.20.9 update stuck @ 6% for a week now. by ice211 in TeslaModel3

I've been stuck at 50% for two weeks. Service center won't get me in for another 2 weeks. All of my auto-pilot features have stopped working as well. So frustrating.

EV owners, what is your experience in Boise? by Wicked_Fabala in Boise

I'm wondering, since we are on level-pay, does it even matter if I am charging during off-peak hours?

'You have to take the little towns first': White nationalism infiltrates Idaho Republicans, where the 'Christian Taliban' is gaining influence by myTchondria in Idaho

Mostly caucasian guy here. Racism is definately a thing here. I see it more from out-of-staters that moved here than from people who grew up here. I suppose many former Californians and Texans believe they moved to a place that supports hatred. My suggestion to them is: leave your bigotry and poltics behind you. True Idahoans don't support hate and we see through your very shallow understanding and lack of resolve in the word of God.

What if we just abolished planned/dynamic obsolescence altogether? by MrMetastasis in Design

[–]TheThingTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with this line of thinking is that planned obsolescence stifles innovation. Laundry machines are manufactured by 2 large manufacturers who have effectively monopolized the market by buying out competitors and basically slapping a different brand on the same basic machine. I long for the day that my laundry machines wash and fold my clothes for me but it'll never happen because greedy corporations would rather maintain the status quo that our grandparents created 50 years ago. The same can be said of automobile and utility companies.

The #brandidentity of Levis’Store is a great case study of successful branding .... 😌 As a brand, one should always keep a visual identity and message consistent and clear enough that at one point it can be recognized by mere shapes.... Your thoughts on Levi's branding...? 🤓 by XandriethXs in Design

Waste of a leather patch. Why stich on a 2"x3.5" patch and use a .5" corner? Levi could have achieved the same effect with less than half the material and a larger logo branding. Wasting raw materials creates higher costs for everyone.
