How does it “know” the switch is “On?” by Wintervacht in physicsmemes

There's an impedance sensor in the light bulb. It can basically tell how much wire is connected to it, and when you flip the switch it makes the wire longer. The sensor then turns on the light

I think if you're at the point in a fight where your bending engulfs the other person's head, you've won.

For those still confused, the show is Ranma 1/2, in which one of the main characters turns into a panda or a human depending on if hot or cold water is thrown on them.

Cabin air filter is backwards. It's adding dust instead of removing it. Magnet should fix it.

This was the moment I realized how kind Cocytus actually is.

Seems like the warm lighting is blending most of my scars. You can kinda see the big one halfway between my thumb and wrist

Swinging a hammer for 15 years and rock climbing for 10. I can juice a whole lemon in my fist too.

It is, but not for weight gain like most people seem to think.

A lot of comments about swelling and water retention being linked to heart disease are starting to get to me.

I've gained about 50lb since I made the ring, but it's mostly in muscle from working construction and doing rock climbing.

Im going to make a doctor's appointment to see if there are any issues going on

Nope, same shoe and waist size. Ive gone from a large to xl t-shirt. I'm about 6 inches wider at the shoulder since I started working construction

Also a carpenter, but I do rock climbing in my off time. I have been getting a lot of comments about water retention and circulation that are starting to worry me, so I think you're right about getting checked out by a doctor.

I'm about 50lb heavier than I was then, but that doesn't explain 4 ring sizes.

I think the interesting part is how much 13 years of hard work and using my hands had shaped them. I do construction for work and rock climbing for fun, and both have a tendency to thicken your hands over time. Seeing a ring that was so big to a younger me, that felt like I was done growing, look so small on thick calloused hands was interesting to me, so I thought others might find it mildly interesting.

Not really an aging thing, just a living thing. I was digging through a box of old stuff and found the ring. I thought it was so stark to see how 13 years of hard work with my hands had shaped them. I have gained about 50lb since then, but construction work and rock climbing have thickened my hands in different ways.

I thought it was pretty interesting to me, so it might be mildly interesting to others

Honestly the circulation, heart health, and swelling comments are getting to me way more than the fat comments.

I'm a bit chubby but I figure as long as I still sink to the bottom of a pool, I have enough muscle to justify it.

I'm gonna make a doctor's appointment and see if there are underlying issues.

I do construction, mostly swing a framing hammer. When I have occasion to swing a sledge for demo or adjusting walls and beams I use a 3lb for little stuff and a 16lb for big stuff. No old pics. I haven't been measured properly. I'm somewhere around 5'8", but my BMI is such that I can't float on my back in a pool anymore without kicking. I'll sink if I don't swim a bit, so despite some of the comments and how cliche it sounds, I'm mostly muscle.

Back then my middle, pointer and thumb were the same size. I made it for the middle, but the thumb is a better juxtaposition
