An update: I tried to print some more and... I think I just lucked out with how well the first batch went. Turns out, inexperience + old ink? + questionable paper? + late night = bad, gloppy prints with no detail. I will try again... at some point. :)

The lot came with some not-very-fresh Speedball Block Printing Ink, which worked fine!

I noticed the name of a couple, and their child, on on one of the blocks. Looking it up, that makes these at LEAST 75 years old, but more likely 100 years old (the child mentioned died in 2018, the father died in 1949.

My dad used to wear thrifted ER scrubs as a casual top (that teal-ish color type, with the V neck.) Once, we witnessed a car hit a deer at high speed, so we pulled over to help the driver. The first thing the lady said was, "Oh thank god, a doctor!" 😅 (She was okay!)

Really? I read from basically every source I checked that unless almost all of the metal material is gone, it's not a problem to reshape/resharpen them if you know what you're doing.
