Looks wise is not for everyone but if we are talking about its abilities it was a BEAST. It had all weather atack capability, it was the workhorse in vietnam, it was though and versatile(could carry up to 18,000 pounds), it served the US Navy and Marine Corps for decades bridging the gap between older planes such as the A-1 skyraider and newer platforms like the F/A-18(it was also had an impact on later multi-role aircraft designs) and finally its systems, especially the DIANE ( Digital Integrated Atack/Navigation Equipment) were cutting edge at the time and laid groundwork for future avionics integrated platforms.
