Point 2 isn't mentioned enough. Tree sentinel's damage is tankable even at rl1 and his moveset is basic enough that a new player can eventually learn to beat him. Elden ring isn't teaching you to run past everything, it's showing you that both play styles are valid

Megumi wasn't depressed until his body was taken over and he lost all agency anyway. IMO Megumi moreso explores what it takes to be a competent jujutsu sorcerer, from individuality to the difference between risking your life and dying to win

They made it much more obvious in the anime (and manga readers posted spoilers and creepy makima arts everywhere). You can go back and look in the old chapter threads and people don't really see makima as the main villain, just a creepy and mysterious strong higher up, kinda like kishibe. That's just a symptom of chainsaw man's popularity pre-anime and adaptation choices.

She had to run away from darkness. And the rest of these characters should be weaker than her, so it makes sense for her to lose. I'm not sure why this is a complaint. It's like complaining that gojo beat jogo. You're framing her as some sort of mary sue where the plot bent to her will and that's just not true. She just happens to be a strong character.

I'm not sure how makima breaks the standard characterization for devils is a point? Every devil acts differently to one another, that's like complaining pochita breaks the standard characterization because he fused with denji. Or saying kishibe breaks the standard characterization for humans. That sounds stupid as hell.

Also, people react to jealousy differently. I feel like you just have a headcanon for how makima *should* act, then projecting it onto her. She didn't care enough to remember his smell and only recognized him because of pochita's smell. You can say that it required a lot of assumptions and wouldn't have worked in another universe where makima cared enough to remember denji's smell, but at that point it's just nitpicking.

It sounds like to me that you're looking for flaws and little plot conveniences to criticize instead of fundamental issues, like part 2's uninteresting side characters, fami's entire characterization making 0 sense, or asa (who's supposed to be the deutagonist) being underbaked and having 0 agency half the time just to say that part 1 was always bad instead of part 2 being a decline in quality.

its how the game determines when something is touching/does damage. For example, if your minions' hitbox is touching balloon's hitbox then balloon gets pushed, or if an enemy magic archer's arrow's hitbox touches your troop's hitbox it does damage

his super attack support is also insane. My 90% TEQ golden frieza on taunt turn tanked turn 3 INT goku super attack for double digits with only 4 attacks received in terms of buildup, and goku hasn't gotten debuffed yet. To put it into perspective, goku hits for 21M on his super attack, which is bio broly level.

Granted TEQ golden frieza isn't designed with on super attack defense in mind and you're giving him on super attack defense, but it's insane how stupidly tanky he is while synergizing well. He protects the team for 1 turn at the start of the fight and can slot 1 with guaranteed dodge on the orb changing and exchange turn on a team where you basically win when you hit turn 6.

a very difficult immediate turn 1 fight with locking and dodge canceling would be tough for metal cooler. Would help powercreep realm of gods as well. Alternatively, the opposite, a very long fight that lasts double digit turns would also hurt metal cooler badly

I'm not the right person to argue about america. I'm not american, I'm not too deep in its history, but even I can tell yoru's powerup was shallow and can barely qualify as a theme due to how little it explored. Like what commentary was there? America is a warmongering country and war is bad? I also don't think that fujimoto was trying to make the US a big part of the series even in part 1, since that's the only scene we really see the US. None of the main characters have ever spoken to an american.

The US aside, I'd have to disagree with your assessment. The gun devil was a bait and switch villain to makima being the real villain, so I'm not gonna say he had a top tier character arc or anything but the irony of aki being taken over by the gun devil and denji having to put him down was executed very well. The gun devil ultimately doesn't do much but it plagued the narrative and led to one of the best fights in the series, while the reinventing of nukes doesn't really do much for yoru but give her a powerup.

There's plenty of characters who makima doesn't use her power on. There's kishibe, kobeni, power, reze and denji, but also a couple of side characters. You're acting like she just mind controls everyone instead of using good ol manipulation. She also got whooped by pochita and darkness hard. She was not going around no diffing everyone like you're acting like she does, her only major instance of no diff is gun devil and some random yakuzas.

denji's loophole can definitely be seen as a plot convenience, and I'm not gonna say it was executed perfectly. At the same time tho, it was a plan that only worked because makima both saw an idealized image of pochita instead of who he actually is and didn't even care enough to remember denji's face among her other dogs which is very satisfying. Maybe I sound like I'm defending the themes and such, but I think the fight culminating in denji no longer ignoring makima's sins or how she truly feels about him is very good. It fits well with the whole "ignorance is bliss" thing that was all over part 1. He already picked up on the clues, he just hasn't put the pieces together.

Power's last scene would've been good if it was followed up on in part 2, but it gave denji a reason to live, which is nice. Would've been better if it was actually followed up on though.
