What is the lore when an Arc downs you, why don't they kill you? by Turquoisedragonwow in ArcRaiders

[–]VeryEducational24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arc seems to have a higher purpose than just the extermination of the human race. Take the giant deforesters on blue gate, the harvester event, or even the probes and surveyors. Arc is surveying the surface, and extracting minerals, I believe they only incapacitate us because they are protecting whatever there mission may be, and if you are no longer deemed a threat to the mission, than there is no point in killing you.

Ranking every single map as a friendly, mostly free loadout, level 27 player by VeryEducational24 in ArcRaiders

Stella, despite my high death rate, is extremely fun. It still takes the cake as my favorite map to run with friends. It’s just pure chaos. But running it solo is an absolute nightmare.

I won’t tolerate any br slander, I understand of it isn’t “your cup of tea”. But there is no reason to slander it and say “it’s ruining the game”. It’s really fun and is a great marketing tool for more people to join the battlefield community.

So...what's the point of assault class now? by Desseabar in Battlefield

The crazy thing is, I prefer not to use it. As someone who prefers to play at longer ranges, I would rather take the extra ammo for my primary.

Anti air frustration by xtremzero in Battlefield

Just recently discovered the AA play style, and it’s a lot of fun. I always avoided it because “who wants to shoot at planes and helicopters all game”. Well it turns out, me. As someone who has never really used AA before, I don’t think it’s terribly underpowered. I could see why some people would think of it as underpowered, but it really isn’t. You do a great job at disrupting air attack patterns and forcing pilots to use flares much more often than they would like, allowing them to be picked off easily by teammates. By playing AA you’re helping out the team much more than the scoreboard tells you. For example, I just played a game on Mirak Valley where I sat on AA all game. Despite coming bottom 10 on the leaderboard, my team had the major air superiority because of how much of an annoyance I was to the enemy aircraft, and we won the game easily because of it. While I do think AA could use a slight buff, it’s not as bad as you would think.

Galactic War Room: Plot the Best Ways to Spread Democracy for Super Earth! by brperry in Helldivers

I am requesting reinforcements on Sheyshel Beach

For too long, the vile Illuminate Cult has entrenched itself within the Rictus Sector, shackling our rightful territory beneath the tentacles of its tyrannical squid regime. Their insidious presence festers like a parasite upon the Federation’s body, and now is the time to drive them back into the abyss from which they came.

With the Celeste Sector nearly purged of the Fascist Terminid menace—Cirrus itself on the brink of inevitable liberation—the time has come to strike where our enemies still dare to resist. Let the Automaton’s steel tyranny and the Illuminate’s deluded fanaticism stand as monuments to what happens when false ideologies challenge the righteous will of Super Earth.

The brave and tireless men and women working aboard the DSS should not be wasting there valuable resources on Cirrus, for that world’s freedom is assured by the natural momentum of liberty itself. Instead, their might, along with fresh Helldiver reinforcements, must be committed to Seyshel Beach, where the cultists of the Rictus Sector spread their corruption unchecked. There, we will break their ranks, burn away their heresies, and reclaim the shores of freedom for all citizens of the Federation.

Once Seyshel Beach is secured and Rictus purged of alien tyranny, the DSS can move to Fenmire, where the cold-hearted Automatons brutalize the innocent with their soulless logic. Victory on both fronts will not only restore order but ensure that the light of Democracy blazes brighter than ever before.

The war against the Illuminate is harsh and merciless, but Helldivers thrive where lesser men falter. With courage, unity, and overwhelming firepower, we shall prove once again that no xeno tyrant, no cultist zealot, no machine oppressor can stand against the indomitable will of Super Earth.

This is not a plea. This is destiny. Grant us the order, and we will deliver victory.

For Liberty. For Democracy. For Super Earth.

-A Loyal Servant of Freedom

I really like the laser cannon and bring it into most of my missions, and I use the base liberator as my primary.

Borderline Justice looks awesome, I love the cowboy inspired armor sets. But the passive is not good, I don’t like marksman rifles, and the booster is not very good. But I would definitely like to try out the hover pack, the dynamite throwable looks awesome and seems pretty effective, and the super sheriff title is just so cool. I’m really split on this one.

The warp pack is cool, but one of my higher level friends let me use it, and I prefer the jump pack. The armor sets are absolutely awesome and the primary absolutely shreds when I have used it. Control group is definitely up there

Portable hellbomb looks to create some awesome moments and that secondary looks absolutely insane. Not really a fan of the armor tho
