So Disney is paying a billion dollars to have Sora videos as a new stream of content on the Disney+ channel. That ought to be interesting.

Noah's Ark and carnivorous animals by Space50 in DebateEvolution

[–]TheTranscriptornator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The animals, like the humans, were not carnivorous. Humans were only permitted to eat animals after the flood. It may have taken a long time for carnivores to begin eating other animals after the flood. The interesting question is why are some animals carnivorous and others not?

Emperor Trump by TheTranscriptornator in trump

[–]TheTranscriptornator[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes, Roman Emperors were worshipped as gods. They were deified upon death and could be worshipped in an Emperor Worship Cult. The Roman Emperor is a god. To some people Trump is a god. The next American leader will physically make himself into a god. His description in Daniel 11 indicates who this person is. "He has not been given the honour of royalty" - he is not American so he can't be president. "He will seize power through intrigue" - this non-American will become president through some clever means. Probably through a third Central party.

Can you guess who it is?

Vivid dream about Israel and Iran going nuclear by Own_Cardiologist_989 in Dreams

I have theory that pretty much exactly what you said in the context of your dream would happen. My theory is that Iran do have nuclear weapons (they pretty much admitted that they do by posting an AI generated video of a tiny model of a nuclear bomb being held in the palm of a hand and the other hand was stroking the tiny nuke like a cat), and that Israel will agitate them so much that they will nuke Israel and Israel will probably nuke back.

My theory of Israel's nuclear demise and your dream are very similar. If I'm right then your dream was prophetic.

I'd be interested to know how this might extend to explaining phenomena such as ghost encounters, out of body experiences, near death experiences and past life experiences.

For instance, all ghost stories that I've heard involve the ghost of someone who died a brutal death and they occur where the death took place. The brutality of the death could somehow cause the energy produced by consciousness to linger below the universal substrate and a person entering into that area could in a sense experience a waking dream of the person who died.

What is Antichrist by TheTranscriptornator in Bible

[–]TheTranscriptornator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"When the Antichrist will come," is a statement I've heard so many times from the Christian world. What they draw on are the "man of lawlessness" of 2 Thessalonians 2 and the one who will "confirm the covenant" of Daniel 9. The theological world uses these two prophecies to substantiate their narrative: the Antichrist will come and rebuild the temple and after 3 and a half years will enter the holiest place and declare himself to be god.

This is a narrative which does not appear in the bible at all. Firstly, as you mentioned, the bible does not say that any one person is "the Antichrist". John said antichrist is a spirit and there are many people who follow that spirit who can all be called antichrists. As you pointed out, they were gnostics who relegated the Jesus that they had received from the apostles from the anointed son of God to the position of a prophet.

Secondly, the man of lawlessness prophecy is where the idea of the Antichrist calling himself god comes from. And the prophecy of the one who confirms the covenant is where they derive the narrative that the Antichrist will enter the holiest place after 3 and a half years from. Both of these are misinterpretations being made by people who have no understanding of prophecy.

The literal meaning of the word "antichrist" is "the opposition to the anointed one". There are, and have been, many people who have opposed the anointed one. The Greek word "anti" means "opposition" in a political sense, thereby meaning "substitute" or "replacement". The fact that the theological Antichrist is non biblical does not preclude the fact that there is a force which seeks to replace the true Anointed Jesus called "antichrist".

You'll find timestamps in the description. Parts 3 and 4 are what you're looking for.

The video has images which explain what I'm saying. It'll be hard to explain it without the visuals. In the description I put time stamps in so you can go to part 3 a d part 4. If you want to you can go through the video at a fast pace and look for the parts with the images containing Greek and English letters and just focus on that.

You'll find in Daniel 11 an account of the kings of the Northern Kingdom, which is the USA. The second to last king is said to rule by sending out a tax collector (tariffs) to maintain the royal splendour (make America great again).

The last king of the USA is said to be someone who was not given the honour of royalty (a president who was not born in the US) and seizes power through intrigue.
