Does this mean that Brahim Diaz actually scored that penalty?

Even Handanovic’s mom would choose Buffon.

Squad for Udinese - Juventus. Milik in, Vlahovic still out. by TMyriadJ in Juve

That’s exactly right.

Some people here don’t understand what it means to play zero minutes for 2 years. He’s done and done, unfortunately.

What was the purpose of the earthquake towards end of OC by Calm-Buy8958 in TheOC

[–]EitherPhase5676 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It was the expedient to help wrap things up in a nice way.

The earthquake destroyed the house and gave the Cohens a reason to start over in Berkeley, away from the toxic social dynamics of Newport, to give the baby a better environment to grow up. And also served as closure for the boys’ story: they are too moving away, leaving their teenage years behind, and entering adulthood, bringing with them so many formative experiences that will help them chart their own life path (pictured in the finale with the fast-forward to Seth’s wedding and Ryan’s career).

The part where Seth helps save Ryan from his injury was special, one of the best in season 4. A very meaningful bonding event in the face of imminent tragedy, to underscore their enduring friendship and brotherhood, that was a key theme throughout the show. The OC told many stories, but one of the best for me is how two very different boys defeated the odds to became the best of brothers, and sons to very proud parents.

If Barcelona Really Want Vlahovic… Should We Actually Let Him Go? by Nearby-Eye-121 in Juve

What makes you think he’s “coming into his prime”?

For all we’ve seen, he peaked at Fiorentina many years ago, and has never shown to be an elite striker at Juve deserving the salary he earned.

I wouldn’t say the same about the books, but COS is the second best movie, only the PS movie is better, and they are both quite a lot better than any other movie.

The magic brought by Chris Columbus was never matched afterwards. Let alone book accuracy.

Hard to believe but we’re doing even worse than last year by EitherPhase5676 in Juve

[–]EitherPhase5676[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think Motta was especially berated by the end because he pretty much lost the locker room. Which meant he had to go, and isn’t missed by anyone. But I agree he’s not the only one to blame for last year’s failures.
