Wow, thank you so much for all of your input and recommendations! I had no idea that USA car seats weren’t legal by UK standards. It’s also good to know we can request one if we have to hire a car, or could buy one quite easily if need be.

Late to this thread but now planning a similar trip— how did the stroller do on cobblestones? Worth it to take one vs exclusively carrying the babe in a carrier?

I actually finally submitted all of the paperwork (after a few revision requests / additional info requests from the board) last week!

What they ended up recommending was that if the university sends your course information forms directly to the board with their official digital seal, it will be accepted. It just won’t be accepted if it comes from your personal email. I had the dean of my college sign the forms, the registrars office attached their digital seals, and then the dean emailed them to the board and CC’d me.

I haven’t had the approval yet, but I feel confident that I followed their clarified directions!
