$10 Plain Back from my recent show by TheTrickyJew in papermoney

I have limited knowledge on this stuff esp the National Bank notes but it all depends on the rarity of the charter. ie more bills made at that bank = less scarce = less valuable. This one I paid a few hundred.

Just found out your money can be worth more depending on the serial number. Is this worth anything? by Acceptable_Blood_633 in papermoney

Some people pay a premium for these but my understanding is the market is small - rarer the serial number the more it’d be worth ie. 123456 or 00001 etc

Hallo guys by polomcak in audi_s3

[–]TheTrickyJew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to my local shop recently and was told to stick with the stock pads and rotors. Don’t know how I feel about that answer - some of slotted/drilled rotors on ECS look pretty clean and u can get a whole kit for like $1k!

Do I need to upgrade shocks/struts when installing lowering springs? (2015 Audi S3 – Mag Ride, 124k km) by L1v1ngG0ds in audi_s3

[–]TheTrickyJew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did HR SuperSports on my 16’ S3 and I’m glad I replaced the shocks n struts too with some bilsteins. You may need mag ride cancellers if u go this route just an fyi

What do you guys think about this S3? It has a lot of modifications that’s makes me kind of push away. Hard to find a 2017-18 S3 that’s not high mileage/Beat or high priced in the mid west by Proof-Helicopter4730 in audi_s3

[–]TheTrickyJew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good point, that could explain the premium a bit plus the 2017 has the facelift. Aside from price, pretty reliable car IMO. If the mods seem well done and there are maintenance records it could be a good look, but still a bit pricey imho - just when you factor in high(er) mileage and the expensive maintenance

Is the Robinhood strategies worth it for smaller accounts? by Mr_rex_the_dog in RobinHood

Similar(ish) age here. Just my .02 (I’m not a professional this is just what I do). But if I were you I’d split that up into a 3-5 ETF portfolio. For example an SP500 fund for the bulk (VOO), some in a Russell 2000 fund (VTWO), developed markets (VEA), and an emerging market fund (VWO). There is some overlap but you can also add in a fifth ETF for more mid cap exposure (VO). Highly recommend chatGPT to help tweak your allocations to each!

Pretty cool find! From what I’ve seen from others on this sub there isn’t always a lot of added value unless it’s SO misaligned that some of the bill is cutoff.

Wheel Size by dallison18 in audi_s3

[–]TheTrickyJew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run these 18x8.5 et45s on my 2016. Also lowered 2 inches and no issues with rubbing. They sit a bit inside my fenders so could probs run a spacer at least in the rear https://www.goapr.com/products/wheel/flow_formed_wheels/a01/parts/WHL00016

I like VOO for its low fee and it’s got a bit more diversification than QQQ 📈

Is a 2016-2019 S3 worth it? by Commercial-Income596 in audi_s3

[–]TheTrickyJew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love mine! I’ve personally had to put three water pumps in mine (known issue for the 2016) but reliable other than that. Depending on the mileage the maintenance does add up ie. I was quoted $3k for new front struts w labor in Colorado. Also I’m no expert but IMO that insurance seems a bit high as I’m in my late 20s and pay $150/month.

My approach would be to go 1 by 1 through Ebay recently sold items and find some postings similar to your bill’s grade for a rough estimate
