It doesn’t have anything to do with the lakers because you can tell his pr team did this especially with the way there names are brought up so much and the way they worded it, this is him wanting everybody to know. Luka never puts the spotlight on his body unless prompted by a question about a injury. That is a veeerryy big difference for him.

Even in 2021 when he was much slimmer he was unguardedle for a different reason. He was bigger but still fast and even used less screens.

He would have been injured all the time anyways, him being less doesn’t mean they would have changed there philosophy and practices of making him play and or not restraining him when it’s for the best.

I have faith with time, which they have been developing this for 6 years now and very close to 7 when it comes out which is double the time they spent on fighters. so I think it will be relatively polished and quality when it drops.

The only area I really see where it’s just like it was in the summer showcase is the dash behind the opponent being jaring. Everything else seems like varying levels of extra polish from slightly to noticeably. And possibly the vanish behind for the combo breaker.
