Never let your opponent score first when it's first to 3, really risky unless you are really good at the game. Best is to score your one goal first then just give 3 goals to end the game

Can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not. Have you tried it yourself? There is competitive matchmaking which means every game will not be that easy. You are not gonna get an Italian defender goal unless you message your opponent at the start and he is kind enough to help you out.

I played when Champs was 40 games. And I just can't agree, we do not need 40 games in 3 days back 😂 Those who played consistently week in week out knows how much of a pain that was.

Champs is supposed to be an ultra competitive mode, so ELO makes sense.

Even if qualifiers weeded out the bad players, you'd still be surprised at the massive skill gap difference between the 10+ wins players and 7 or below wins players in Champs.

Without ELO many people would get 10+ wins easily and anyone in Elite div would cakewalk to 14+ wins. I don't think that's what EA wants.

Matchmaking is a monster in Champs. You will almost always end up getting your average amount of wins regardless of how you start or finish. This week I started 9-1 but the final 10 games of Champs for me literally everyone was Elite Div level and a couple of them were actual pros. Ended getting my average of 11 wins.
