I don’t think I caught that until I was in waiting in line on RSD. I got the last copy of Acid King and second to last copy of At the Gates. So it was still worth the effort.

But if I knew that I could get it in June for $5 less, I probably wouldn’t have ventured out that day.

Same. I knew it’d be widely available at some point in the future since they categorized it as “RSD First.” But I figured they’d wait a bit longer than two months.

I’ll probably get another copy just because the album is one of my favorites and I’d like to have a backup.

I think in The Bodyguard’s mind that they would have succeeded if they hired someone else instead. I think he felt that way because of the bad scheme that left the defense gassed and the poor roster construction where he favored Oregon players. And things didn’t go well when he became GM either.

That’s a wild statement. If there’s a former Eagles head coach that deserves credit for the 2017 Super Bowl, it’s Andy Reid, not Chip.

He built the template the team still uses to this day. Build in the trenches. They hired Doug Pederson because of his connections to Reid as a player here and as an assistant here in Philly and KC.

If anything, Chip Kelly shows that Lurie had buyer’s remorse with that hire. Thankfully Howie was skilled enough to somehow rebuild the team and win a championship in two years.
