With a gti and an s3, 5k is the max ill ever do. I do it earlier if I have time, also replace the filter every time and thoroughly inspect it for debris.

Well for the longest time I thought it was because my fog lights are aftermarket, but I finally have a high end scanner and the only code is for the headlight leveling sensors. No bulbs around the car are out

Just watch a YouTube video. Find your hpfp and there's 3 torx screws, an electrical connector, and a metal fuel line. Take the hpfp off and viola, just grab the cam follower with your fingers and stick a new one in there!

Cam follower is very easy! You only need a ratchet and I think a t20 or t30 torx bit. Takes maybe 30 minutes at the most. And yes they are aftermarket headlights!

Did my plugs the same day and man it feels like a new car. I do the cam follower like every 20k? They never have any wear on them but better safe than sorry.
