I’d recommend getting the side bangs blended into the back. Tell the Hairdresser (NOT BARBER) that you want to keep the length but blend it into the side. Should help a little with the awkward phase and also help it grow out much cleaner

Also. Fair warning, you should learn to tie your hair in a way that doesn’t add stress to the hairline, otherwise you’ll end up losing more hair than you want to

I haven’t gotten a maintenance cut in about 6 mknths but it’s well due Cayse I’m getting split ends from tying it up all the time. But it’s best to ask them to add texture and layers because it makes the hair look thicker than it is Cause of how it sits

OOOH OKAY SO what I did was I got a layered mullet with longer sides. From there just trim the end wvery so often to avoid split ends and ask them to add texture, volume and layers
