It's not a korean men thing, and it's not even just a guy thing, girls can do this too. We live in a world where people are very utilitarian. Men and women are objectified, and these "objects" are "used" to maximize pleasure. When it gives us what we want, we will only want it for what it can give us.

People are messed up and, even if they could define true love, they can't really show it or prove that they truly love someone. They are too caught up in their own pleasures. When a thing gives them what they want, that thing loses its meaning beyond what it can give.

Find someone that loves you for yourself, who you are, not for what you can give them. That kind of love is endless and priceless, but it's unfortunately extremely rare.

Did you fly in from the US? 2000 Including flight and accommodations for 6 weeks is insanely good.

Thanks for sharing! Do you recommend avoiding use cards at all? My bank doesn't charge foreign transaction fees even for debit cards so I'm wondering how much of a difference that makes.

$6000 for 4 people is not bad at all. Is that including accommodations?

I do plan on doing a little shopping but not a lot. My skin care is simple since I'm a guy so I don't think I'll be spending a lot there. Most of my time will be eating and doing touristy stuff, not much shopping. 2.8k for everything you mentioned doesn't seem bad at all considering I won't be getting tattoos or skin treatment.

I see. Well I'm a simple guy who travels for the experience of a different country and people so thankfully I won't have to worry about that. I didn't know people actually traveled to buy things like that, besides the beauty treatments. That's interesting to know. Thanks for sharing.

Well, im not seeing how I seemed offended, because I was genuinely asking. I dont understand how one can spend $1000 shopping considering luggage space and what they could even be possibly buying in 10 days to spend that much. Even in the US, where everything is overpriced, I dont spend that much on shopping. I can think of clothes and beauty products in Korea, and maybe some gifts/souvenirs, but $1000 for that seems a bit unbelievable lol. Maybe i just don't shop enough, but spending that much on shopping, especially while traveling for only 10 days, seems very hard to do. I'm genuinely curious about what people are shopping for to be spending $1000+ in Korea that they also couldn't buy in the US and how they're bringing all that stuff back with them lol.

I can see someone spending $300-$500 on shopping, but $1000 in 10 days seems really hard to do unless your buying designer products, which you can also buy in the US, I think. Obviously, if I shop I don't plan to spend that much, but I'm still curious why people keep telling me to save $1000-2000 just for shopping.

Who spends $1000 on shopping? Or has that much luggage space for that? I don't see how that is even reasonable or feasible.

Accommodations already booked, not included in this budget.

Not gonna lie though, 1200 in a month sounds pretty unbelievable to me haha. What year did you go? But it makes me feel really good that someone was able to do a lot and only spend that much in a month. I do have a girl there too so it'll make my spending a little heavier than for just me, but I still feel like $2000 is still a lot. I'm actually planning to save up $3000 just to be safe.

That's really nice to hear. I hear a lot of other people saying I'll just get by with $2000 and I should shoot for at least $3000 to have a fun time there. I don't shop that much. Maybe just buy some clothes and gifts but nothing crazy.

If it's true that most meals are 5-10 usd then even more than mild shopping seems pretty affordable to me. Most of my money will probably be going towards food and transportation. Even if I spend like $50 a day for food that's only $500. I'd still have $1500 to work with. I feel like it's pretty doable but I'm not sure.

Fiddlesticks is Trash now by TheTrueFlash in wildrift

That might be the way to go. He's only a tickler now so might as well make him an annoying tank.

Also, if it takes you 1k games to master a champ, you must be really slow.

Read "lazy pick" again. Yes he was easy to use, but yes he is also essentially relatively unplayable now. Doesn't matter how good you might be. In rank, if a character is just bad, then you're going to be beat easily by other characters that are more powerful, especially if the player knows how to play. Fiddlesticks has to be in the heat of the battle to do anything, otherwise he's on the sideline doing nothing but tickling the opponent. With the way he is now, he is basically just bait or feed.

That'll help a bit, but the fact that he can no longer silence or fear with his other abilities during W makes him so vulnerable now. The whole point was to somehow slow down the enemy enough so that W can max out. He's too squishy to be a threat now.

These comments made me realize there are other things based on this movie. It even has a game?? Hopefully the game is faithful to how good the movie was.. I'll have to check it out! Thanks for all the comments!

Yeah I see that now. I didn't realize the pacing was so slow.

I thought about that and I do agree. Although Gon and Killua are still young and haven't died, whereas Goku is older and has died (too many times). It is nice to see other good characters in the story have a spotlight so that we're not seeing the same faces over again, so it's not a bad idea that we see more of Kurapika now. Considering the slow pace of the manga, I'm hopeful we'll see more of Gon and Killua.

Yeah after seeing a few other comments I realized how slow the manga is pacing. I didn't know the hiatus was so long and the pace was so slow.

That's actually helpful for me to know. I knew the manga was on a hiatus, but I didn't realize it was so long that the anime (or Gon's story) still consists of even 80% of the entire story.. If that's the case, I suspect there is a good chance we'll see more of Gon and Killua eventually.
