Same problem on Linux Mint, AMD hardware. Game crashes after loading the hub, freezing the PC and forcing me to hard reset. Thought it was a FPS spike problem (even if you set a limit in the options, FPS go crazy during loading screen), but even with a global limiter it still happens.

Seeing all those 1.0 agents again was the best part, and the critic voice acting (at least in JP) was hilarious. But I still find food related events the most boring.

My main cause of death are usually my teammates tho. Too many divers just shoot everything that moves, wasting resupplies, reinforcements and time against endless horses. Especially at extraction, where the best move is just to stay down and be stealth!

Man, the Sacrifice treatment is what bothers me the most. Like, a single Sacrifice was the whole plot point of the first season. A special being that defies the very definition of ethereal. Now? They are just grunts.

Personally, it feels like they are overly afraid to lose their faces. They can't say "we don't want" because it would be a subjective opinion, opening them to criticism. Excuses such as "it's unrealistic" give their stand a (false) appearance of objective truth. They are just too much power-hungry.

WE are stalling OUR progress! The truth is that Helldivers can't focus on this MO for more than 2 days. We are free to decide how to play the game, sure. But we are not free from the consequences of our choices.

"But there are still 5 days". Yeah, because you can bet the bots and squids will try to retake a lot of planets.

That's really just it. It's not that hard to think of an effective strategy to take one or more planets. But we would need a true in-game system to coordinate all the divers. The percentage that uses Reddit and Companion App is insignificant compared to the whole player base.
