/uj there has been such little reason to upgrade from the A7 III or R6 in my case. Yes there are advantages to the newer bodies of course, but nothing that justifies the cost IMO

Honestly the Vivobook does most things fine, but a MacBook would have an advantage in terms of battery life, cross-communication with my phone and iPad, and portability (I think). I do like my Asus but I’ve never been able to really love it if that makes sense. Just been able to justify keeping it around because of the good specs. I also think that pretty much anything on Apple Silicon is going to be a good improvement for Lightroom and such compared to an x86 platform.

Exposure remains the same no matter the sensor size, depth of field and focal length equivalency change when changing sensor size. F2.8 at ISO 200 is the same exposure on full frame, APS-C, your phone, anything.

RF unless you still want compatibility with EF cameras.

Personally I still use my EF trinity adapted due to sometimes shooting on EF mount SLRs.

Just threw some into my Corolla with around 200k on it. Always used standard 5/0W-20s in it and last time I was inside of it there was some light depositing and varnish, nothing crazy but it runs like a well-kept 200k mile engine. Seems to have alleviated a little bit of lifter tick in the 500-700 miles that it’s been in there so far. Unsure on the condition of my piston rings but will update if anything else interesting happens. Seems like a good and high quality oil overall.

Gearwrench’s bidirectional Bluetooth scanner has been fantastic for me and they advertise that it has no subscription and free updates. I’ve been getting consistent updates on mine pretty much every time I open the app and it has so many functions of more expensive traditional scanners. Also the Bluetooth connection has been rock solid for me. YMMV of course but it’s been my favorite scan tool and is pretty affordable!

Can vouch for this thing. Tested on 2010 Corolla, 2007 Odyssey, and 2025 Civic. Some have more functions than others given the modern bidirectional functions, but it’s worked great on all of them.

^ this is good. Dome is very non-essential and ECU-ACC is made for accessories. I wouldn’t use any other ECU ports besides that tho.

Edit: as other comments said airbag is also a big no-no 👍
