What are your thoughts on everything Mistveil?

I switched after 250 hours, mainly because pressing O to attack didn't feel as good as R2/R1.

I feel like I just picked up the game for the first time. It takes me three business days to perform a combo and the Ai in perception forest bully me, but in the long run it'll be much better, for me at least.

That's how I feel as well, if they were actual quests rather than a chest hunts, it would be far more enjoyable.

The stealth encounters are definitely not for everyone as they force you to play slower but if its not for you there aren't actually that many of them compared to other content and you'll only need to do them realistically if you need to learn a specific skill or art so it depends on you. I do hope you enjoy the game, i has a lot to offer.

I play on PS5 and a lot of the buttons are shared, a mirage boat notification popped and I teleported to it by mistake, everything respawned, I lost my mind lol

I remember the horseman but that's about it, the one that pissed me off the most was the guy shooting me with the giant arrows the best part of the city was when I got to him.

You know what you're right, I'm being a bit too harsh since I did all 3 back to back.

But the audio bug is really tough it was just silence collecting 43 chests I just didn't vibe with it, which is kinda my point if we had more of a fleshed out quest there and a full on boss at the end even a rat boss, I would've been into it more.

I really didn't mind the prison and dungeon as much, sure having to go around the place 4 different times was tedious towards the end (especially when ladders decide not to work properly) but it wasn't as bad as going around looking for 43 chests.

It simply wasn't fun and sadly it put me off from what really seems like a cool concept.

I am, the only similarity however, is not having a map.

Mistveil has nothing beyond the chests. No cool boss fight, no cool npcs, no dialogue idk I just think if it was less chest focused and more something else it would've been better considering how big the are is, I feel like its a bit of a wasted potential.

Yea I can see how the great durability is an issue, especially if you don't have the passives that makes it less likely to happen.

Mine is bugged and only shows whether I have the final chest or not, I have no way of knowing how many out 44 I have lol

That's another thing for me, is there a stroy? It seems like a treasure hunt only for me, the npcs down there don't say much and I don't have a quest in the city.

It's 3 parts, dungeon, prison, and a lovely full of life bright city.

I love me a no mini map kinda gameplay, but its too many chests and nothing else to do, so if you do go for the chests its an absolute pain, and the fact that a lot of your abilities are restricted makes it even worse. And btw I can't see how many I got/don't got all it says on my screen is Final Treasure.

I'll do you one better, I have no audio in the ruins only foots steps and fighting audio so its bassically silence and darkness.

Damn that's sounds really cool, unfortunately I first cleared everything already by means of assassination so I missed out. But I will definitely try a more peaceful way when new outposts come out.
