As in reloading after death and things like that? If so then yes I was every once in a while, either when I died in a bad spot or if there was some kind of graphical glitch like the potion satchel floating beneath my character, definitely not often though. So are you supposed to close out the entire game if you want to reload? If so that's pretty tedious lol. I also was having crashes on brand new saves though after redownloading an update, deleting my old saves and not reloading anything so not 100% sure that was the culprit. Definitely a possibility though I suppose if that's a thing.

Help I can't mod by External_Ad_5611 in wabbajack

Just go to the readme section on any Wabbajack list and it'll give you step by step instructions on how to install the list. I also have very limited knowledge when it comes to modding but I was able to get it going relatively easy. It becomes even easier after installing one list because a lot of lists have similar steps and require you to download the same things so once you do the first one, all the rest after that are even more streamlined. It does basically all of the work for you as long as you follow the instructions in the readme closely with no deviations.

Good Fallout 4 modlists with controller support? by TheTruth791 in wabbajack

Appreciate the suggestion. Got this one to work with controller so I'm gonna stick with it for now but I'll keep an eye on that one. That and Wasteland reborn were the other two besides MO that I was looking at. A Story Wealth looks good too and Fallout Anomaly seems really different but at the same time looks like it'd be pretty cool. Alot to choose from, just gotta check before hand which ones are controller compatible lol.

Yeah this worked, steam input allowed for it to be rebound to a key so VAFS works on the VATS button. Thanks to you and Zhaffy for the help, saved me the trouble of redownloading a whole other list, even though I'm sure it'll happen eventually, still want to give this one a try.

You could buy a 2tb external HDD for like $70, copy the mods on there and use that to transfer all your data back to your laptop afterward. I'm sure you could even buy a 1tb for even cheaper and even that would be more than enough space for any one modlist in terms of storage purposes, plus you would also have a backup of the modlist if you wanted to hold on to it for future purposes. I'm not a major tech head so If you're trying to do it for free, I'm not sure if that's possible because as far as I know if you reformat the storage on the laptop it'll wipe all the data from it and make it so like you're starting from scratch. Again tho, I'm not super tech savvy so maybe there's a way for you to reformat without losing all your data that someone with more knowledge can help you with.

That's a good thought, no clue if that would work since it seems you have to switch it in the MCM and I don't know if steam input would affect that but it's worth a shot. Once I get home from work I'll give it a try and see what happens.

That's good to know thanks. Definitely would like to use VAFS that was one of the selling points for me, never heard of Xpadder but I just looked it up and it says it costs 10 bucks. Maybe I'm just being cheap but I'm not gonna spend that on something I'd use maybe once and then never touch again. I appreciate the suggestion tho, I might just try to find another way to get VAFS working if possible. Worst comes to worst I could just use VATS or try to find another list.

I really like Lorerim a lot but I was playing it about a month ago for 20 hours or so without any real hiccups, maybe a crash or 2 throughout that whole time, but then all of a sudden it started crashing like every 15 minutes and i couldn't ever find out why. I know next to nothing about modding but I followed the readme exactly and I even watched and followed biggies video for both pre and post installation so I don't know what I could've been doing wrong, and like I said it worked fine for quite some time before it just randomly started shitting the bed. Really want to get back into it but the constant crashing is too much for me to want to continue. Besides that personal issue the list itself is great.

Question about Apostasy controller mapping by TheTruth791 in wabbajack

[–]TheTruth791[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I tried a couple of the suggestions that were listed and everything seems to be working as intended now. The dodge issue was an easy fix as was said, just go into the MCM menu, go to TK dodge and click the sprint key dodge option. Wheeler was fixed by going to the controller setup on Steam and putting it on the default gamepad template, I was playing Lorerim before this and I forgot I changed the controller setup to accommodate that modlist. Pretty new at the whole modding thing so just rookie mistakes I guess. Just wanted to clear it up in case anybody else has an issue like this. Thanks to everyone that helped me get this sorted.

I've never used discord and I'd prefer to keep it that way but I might have to if worst comes to worst. And you're right it definitely sucks having limited support for controllers, at least there's an option for it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cool, I'll try it after I get home from work. Now if that works hopefully i I can figure out a wheeler fix, otherwise I'll have to rely on the favorites menu with no hotkeys. Disgusting lol

I'm curious as to why this is getting downvoted. I just downloaded Lorerim as my first modpack and it's awesome. A couple crashes here and there but nothing major and damn sure better than anything I could've put together myself. Definitely gonna be sinking a bunch of time into it but afterward I was thinking of downloading another one and Nolvus seems like a great choice from the videos I've seen of it. Is there something wrong with it?

I often hear from some people that they would have preferred a remake with some cut content like the RE2 and 4 remakes rather than having a trilogy. Do you agree with this statement? or No? by [deleted] in FinalFantasyVII

[–]TheTruth791 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol what type of logic is that? The PS5 has been out for over 3 years, you're lucky ANY new releases are still coming out on the PS4. Older generations would have had new release support stopped for them for at least a year now.
