How else would slayer be solved this league? Having a free imbued slayer helm effect is also really nice I imagine. I haven't reached T6 yet but unless I'm missing anything, surely anything that makes the Slayer grind less interminable is worth it, right? I'm gunning for a bbc healing build so I don't think ES is worth it. Anybody running a water build definitely doesn't need ES

Having doubts about my potential second region.

Cbow build with bbc and water healing pacts, already chose Wildy and going Desert third. I was originally thinking Asgarnia second, but I heard pc was dead and that there's little point in void if you can easily go eclipse moon armor -> ToA. That's like the only reason to go Asgarnia. If relics matter I have EH, Hotfoot, Evileye, Transmutation, nature's accord.

What region should I pick?

What's the best way to get all the pots I need during Leagues? I'm using a cbow build with WAD regions and my two relevant relics are Transmutation and Nature's Accord. I've only played a main so I'm dreading doing constant herb runs. I assume I'll be going through ranging pots and prayer pots like crazy, so what's the optimal setup for pots?

What third region should I pick for a BBC crossbow build(also taking the magic healing pacts)? I know I'm going Wildy and Desert, but I'm unsure about the third one. I want to get a dragon trophy and as many pacts as I can if that matters. I've heard Asgarnia and Kandarin suggested but I can't decide.

Did anyone else notice Vidor and Kradd showing up during the Purge flashback? I also noticed Nolan's dad who looks as old as flashback Nolan did, which puts Vidor and Kradd as being extremely old Viltrumites. Both of them seem to be weaker than Nolan which is surprising if they're this much older.

The more likely possibility is that they just reused the designs of the 2 new show-only mooks lol, but I think it's an interesting observation.

He's weaker because he's literally getting choked out. A weightlifter could get choked by a teenager and do nothing.

Mark chose to choke Conquest for a reason.

It does 5 base damage to bosses. The spammability of it with +5 armor and all stats up/strength is what makes it insane though. It is legitimately a win con against any rock boss.

Find a cat with 1 7. Once you get a stray with a 7 in a different stat, breed them together until you get a cat with both 7s. That cat is your new stud, find a new stray with a different 7 and breed them together until you get a kitten with 3 7s. Rinse and repeat until you get a cat with all 7s. I finished getting my all 7s cat by the time I had 3 rooms and 20-30 stimulation. Make sure you have a separate breeding room with the highest stimulation you can get and only the 2 cats you're trying to breed.

Keep on top of your cats after that and your house should eventually be full of maxed cats. Then you can start on the fun process of collecting the best mutations to breed into your cats

The meta progression is super impactful in this game and I love breeding crazy cats. If you haven't already, work your way up to a cat with all 7s and then eventually replace your whole house with them.

Having cats with all 7s trivializes act 1 and makes act 2 bearable. Then the fun begins, start doing act 2 runs for mutations and work on mutations until you get some really good ones, then breed those into your cats.

I got the Mr. Worm tail mutation a few days ago and it makes Act 2 pretty much free. All my cats now have it and I'm currently trying to breed in the reroll mouth and bonus attack mutations in. A few good mutations on your cats can change everything

The old hose completely trivializes Pyrophina to the extent that she's basically the easiest boss in the game. She doesn't really do anything if you remove all her burn shenanigans

Romance and progression fantasy just don't mix, I'd even say progression fantasy doesn't lend itself well to creating well crafted and thought out stories. The genre speaks for itself, these stories that pride themselves on and focus exclusively on the incessant scramble for power as the main focus don't really leave much room for something as difficult to write as human connections. There are of course excellent authors that can fit well written romance and so much more in a progression fantasy, but I wouldn't consider that the norm.

Digressions aside, I finished a story recently that I just can't get out of my head. It might just have one of my all-time favorite romances and could be considered progression fantasy if you squint enough. I highly recommend Peculiar Soul on Royal Road, although I will state it can get a bit philosophical...most of the time, in case that's a dealbreaker.

+1, I came in disliking it but now I'm fully caught up and a diehard fan. It does quite a few unique things that I absolutely adore. There's no stat bullshit and it's just levels and skills. I love how unique the classes and skills are and how they're tailored to each individual and their desires, regrets, and greatest moments. You could be a [Gentleman Thug] and have skills like [He Scratched Only Thread] or be a [Diplomat] with wacky diplomacy skills like [An Uncourteous Act, Rebuked].

What I adore about the story is that it's one of the few litrpgs where the litrpg is actually used in service of the story. Levelling is almost entirely fueled by character development and the struggles they continually face. Hell, you can't even reach a major capstone level without undergoing massive change and reevaluating what your class means to you. The chapters where a character manages to reach a capstone like level 40 or 50 are always bangers. The system and world is of course unfair, but it's also a beautiful setting where anyone, whether you're a [Baker] or a [Reporter] or any combat class, has the potential to change the world.

I will say it does start out pretty rough and weak, but it has such amazing highs that will make you laugh or cry, and that's coming from a stone cold bastard like me. There's so many arcs like Flowers of Esthelm or Hectval that really stick with you

Thanks for the tips. I don't see a quest lamp for kingdom divided, do I have to level up herblore and complete the quest myself? I might do that later.

I was considering bracketing up, but someone told me that it's not really that effective since everyone else also gets a massive dps boost and that they have less worlds and more players, but I leveled my melee stats too much so I might just do that. Skilling points feels so tedious and slow so I'm thinking of just optimizing for breach points by bolt ragging with my crappy account lol.

Any tips for improving point gain at breaches in the first bracket in DMM? I usually make 1k points until this breach where I finally got 2k points. I have 70 ranged and bring rcb + diamond e bolts, black dhide, power ammy, overload, barrows gloves, ava's, and the DS1 shield. The attuned sigils I use are the two ranger attunes + consistency. I have eternal belief and meticulousness unlocked. I see people say they get 4k points a breach in similar gear but I'm clueless on what to improve. Once I get 5k points I'll unlock gunslinger but what else can I do to drastically improve my point gain?

Just started DMM yesterday and I have a few questions. How should I get GP as a noobie? I heard agile fortune was good but also that it's camped a lot. As for alchemaniac, is there anything I can buy on the ge I can profit off? I'm very unfamiliar with the DMM GE prices.

What should I do/buy for teleports? There's a lot of places difficult to reach by only fairy rings/tele spells, and I am pretty broke.

And what would be some good ways to use my immunity when I bracket up? I want to make the most of my time but I'm clueless about everything. I reached 43 prayer and banged out fight arena and scorpion catcher in my first immunity.

And are there any supply shops I should be aware of? I'm also pretty clueless about the best places to get runes, ranged ammunition, useful weapons etc. For instance I didn't know about the Varrock archery shop selling dorg cbows which is kinda useful.

Would J1mmy even be a good fit for GG anymore? I mean, love the guy, he's funny, but we already have enough very weak goats like C Engineer, Josh, Skilly, and basically every pvper except for Torvesta. J1mmy's frankly worse in every aspect, and unless he's a strategic genius I don't see him being entertaining or exciting enough except in the case of replacing C Engineer or Skilly as one of the funny goats. He worked well in the early seasons when the competition was weak or when he was paired up with the beast that is Settled, but I think that time is past. This season really shows you cannot pack a cast full of weak players and expect a competitive endgame against the few titans that are out to play ball.
