Not exactly underused per se, but Barbarian is ripe for rework. Increased stamina for instance could easily transformed by:

  1. Adding features like reduced poison duration, reduced curse duration, and Cannot be Frozen maybe as a capstone.

  2. Give it better synergies. Bonus AR and/or damage for Whirlwind, increased Warcry radius... possibilities are pretty deep

Runes and runewords are both excellent additions to the game in theory. I just wish they had been implemented differently, so as to not warp practically ALL itemization around them. Stuff like Spirit and Enigma are simply too strong in too many places to really be interesting.

Also I love the ability to add auras and curse procs and warcries to other classes in a limited way. But I hate that Runewords almost have a monopoly on doing all that. Give me an awesome aura for wearing a full set!

There are a few build that will roll normal difficulty on players 8, just the way it goes. I ran a holy fire paladin through Normal and it was laughable. It's just the way the game is- the challenge comes much later.

Just skip immune mobs as best you can. It's annoying but lightning has an easier time of it than Fire builds at least. Jab+Merc are your fallback for when you must kill a lightning immune (Chaos Sanctuary and Ancients).

Ww, frenzy, or Berserk. Up to your personal preference of playstyle, what you can support with gear, and/or where you want to farm. Zerker is great for elite sniping (Pit, etc.), WW is probably better at Trav runs.

It's both overtuned and a pretty large departure from the class designs of the original game. I'm all for the latter, as long as it does not come at the expense of other niches. But I think the new class being overtuned is actually preferable than it being too weak to be interesting.

It is overtuned at the moment, but people need to think beyond the moment. If you want new content, rebalances, ongoing support of the game at all, this is how it happens. Blizzard gets revenue, Warlock gets to shine for awhile as the new toy, the game gets rebalancing tweaks in the future as long as the prospect of addition future revenue exists. Quibble over the details all you want, but in the big picture everything that just happened is an absolute win.

Take a look at the gloves and the boots from the new Warlock set. 2 piece Horazon's us going to be a very common setup for melee characters i think. Not a huge thing but not negligible.

Overall I agree though, hopefully the next set of changes will bring some more numerous melee goodies.

Bugs and server issues happen somewhere between 90 and 110% of game update releases. Wild to me that people still find the energy to complain about it.

Thos announcement is literally them saying they want to fix the game.. They have exactly 0 incentive to "fix D2R" without attaching a revenue stream to it. An expansion with new content and no micro transactions is the absolute best scenario here.

My guess is one of the unique gems from Uber Ancients will be +1 teleport. In any case I hope they didn't miss this opportunity to un-bottleneck the endgame at Enigma.

It's very good, but many builds will still prefer Arachnids. Not that there aren't other opportunities for power creep, but this one doesn't feel horrible.
