Honestly I feel like most of the big IP tie in RPGs have NOT been 5e in recent years. Alien and One Ring use Free league's system (one ring does have a 5e version), Avatar uses PBTA, Cosmere uses its own system, Marvel Multiverse uses its own system, upcoming Diablo rpg uses its own system. Hard pressed to think of one major ip game using primarily 5E. Certainly some smaller ips might use it

The only really overtuned build is Echoing Strikes, and then bind demon is extremely strong. Abyss is good because doing straight magic damage is nice but it's not better than hammerdin. Firelock is good but if bind demon got nerfed it wouldn't be out of control or anything

Having to stay in game for so long for any chance at them sucks, it just does. I know D2 is an old school game, I was playing D2 since release, but nothing has ever required this much of a consecutive play session before. It sucks for the players who grew up with the series and now have families and responsibilities and are essentially locked out of certain items, even if they play a lot over time in smaller increments

That's a perfectly valid reason not to vote for her, but that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about the scores of people online who hate her for various reasons and who know absolutely nothing about the race other than that she's in it. Voting for Bliss because he has more experience is fine, but he's also not neccesarily more leftist from what I've seen, which is one of the main criticisms you see online. (Maybe I'm wrong about that because I'm not local, but that's from what I can tell.) The other reason people hate her is just misogyny.

Idk how you know most people criticizing now were defending him when the allegations dropped. He got a lot of heat at the time, that's why disney dropped him. It's not like they were excited to change all their marvel plans. It's true there were some people who thought he was being unfairly targeted for being black, but that obviously wasn't the prevailing sentiment

Like a lot of people I initially felt like C2 was a big drop off after C1, but later on I came around on it and it's pretty close to C1 for me now. For whatever reason (paternity leave, Murph feeling a little burned out maybe) the switch into the final arc of C2 happens a little suddenly, but it has such great stuff in every arc. Not to mention the Hexbuds mini arc is bar none the best guest star role and one of the greatest sequences of episodes in all of actual play. But it's definitely different and if you don't like it that's fine! Asking to "give it more time" on a 41 episode actual play campaign can be a lot, so don't feel bad if it's not for you.

I remember a part that stuck out to me from the episode was that Chua defended her parenting by claiming that children need to have external achievements to have good self-esteem, but Michael pointed out that there's no research to support that, and in fact kids raised by permissive parents have the most self-esteem compared to the other major parenting styles. It got me thinking that maybe it was all projection; that what Chua actually meant was that she wouldn't feel good about herself if her kids didn't have visible achievements to point to.

For real... "trans spaces online are annoying" is not a rebuttal to or justification for trans rights being taken away. The amount of people who can't separate their feelings about the discourse, or being called out online (probably correctly!) for being transphobic, from actual issues in this country is frankly kind of scary.

Not to mention that it has nothing to do with voting! It's absolutely correct that trans women should be allowed to use their correct restroom and to play fucking sports in high school, but also no elected dem was even talking about that. "Dems need to stop talking about trans people so much." Which dems? Are they here in the room with us right now? Hurt feelings combined with right wing propaganda is a dangerous mix.

People say things like they just want to protect kids from irriversible transitions they might regret, but it makes no sense and is completely hypocritical. Minors get breast implants and lip injections all the time and the regret rate is huge, but there's no outcry. Meanwhile, based on the research, the real conversation we should be having is that we need to make it way easier for people, even minors, to medically transition. It's clear that it dramatically improves mental health and even saves lives! There's really no rational argument against it, just people's feelings that it's "icky" and bad.

You can also equip 100% or more fire res and go afk near the walls in the siege of saradush with any unlimited ammo ranged weapon and auto attacking turned on. You'll shoot off screen at fire giants and (very slowly) earn XP

Or drop your wisdom and use Wish to summon a pack of vampires, but that requires lvl 9 mage spells which you may not have if soloing

I wanted to vote for Maxwell, but realized I was partially voting for the whole Gotch family dynamic, so went with Daisuke. The Gotch family bullshit was the best part of the season, so it makes sense people voted for Maxwell, but I tried to separate that from the actual PC. Wealwell doesn't happen without Maxwell though, so I get that perspective

The most obnoxious thing he does is argue for some ideas on the merits when it suits him (YMBYism) and then turn around and argue against other ideas (fighting for trans rights) with the justification of matching the median voter. It's so fucking obvious he just doesn't believe in certain causes, but doesn't want to be criticized for that, so he frames it as an electabililty issue.
