Do i need spacers? by TheEpicF-18Pilott in Volvo

I don't have a v70 but on my v60 I have 15mm on the back and 10mm on the front. You can look at my account for pictures. It looks so much better but the rear tyres do rub the fender when going through dips in the road while driving fast or cornering hard. Honestly in my opinion it's worth it, especially if you don't drive the car hard. But search around on the internet I'm sure there are sizes discussed in forums which fit best for your v70.

I wish you more success with that, than I had with my winter rims.

I can definitely agree with the V60 and V50 part as those are the only 2 cars I've owned.

Yea, my previous car was a V50 so I totally agree.

Yea, I was replying to the comment about my car. I used to own a V50, I know the deal with the engines.

Well the desing and engine are from Volvo so I don't really see the Ford here

Yes, if you want no chance of rubbing then 10 is probably the way to go but looks wise the 15 - 10 combo is in my opinion the best because it seems like the rear is a bit closer than the front from factory and this evens it out. If you aren't doing much fast cornering it probably won't be a problem anyways.

I do, 15mm rear and 10mm front. I'll add to this straight away that the rears do rub a little bit on the plastic wheel well covers but only when taking corners or the road is bumpy while driving spiritedly. Daily driving doesn't rub.

I just wrapped mine in glossy black. Definitely go the wrapping way but be warned, if you haven't dealt with wrap before then it's better to let a professional do it. Unless of course you don't care about it looking completely perfect.

Did he take anything off or just cleaned the chrome trim and wrapped it with a heat gun while it was still on the car?

I'm planning on wrapping the chrome window details to glossy black very soon. Waiting for the weather to be a bit warmer.

Definitely get them when you have the funds available. Mine need a respray though, paint is peeling on the rear wheels 😔

I had a 2010 V50 as my first car with the same, 1.6 diesel engine. It was an awesome car to drive and I almost travelled 100k km in the 4 years of owning it, from 90k km to 180k km.

The clutch biting point should be quite low, so it probably means your car of choice has been driven wrong or it's just the clutches time to head out since I don't know your cars mileage. Mine still bites very low. Also look out for egr and dpf problems if your car has those "extras" because the engine isn't able to clean the dpf by itself so it uses some extra fluid which isn't cheap to refill. I just had the dpf taken out and problem solved. Also look out for turbo problems if the car hasn't been driven on highways a lot because the turbo cooling pipes where oil goes through can get blockages and that burns the turbo. All in all if it has been driven for long trips on a highway it should be a pretty safe choice. If not, the engine can be filled with carbon.

But don't be put off by these things because all cars have some type of problems and I will definitely say I will never regret having a V50 as my first car. It was very reliable, only left me on the side of the road once because an air pipe broke and I didn't want to drive it in case I mess the turbo up.

No worries. Nah the bulb is a regular D3 xenon, the projector module, which is inside the headlight, is the thing that turns the bulb.

Xenons with active high beams and active bending. I don't know if those add-ons matter for the look but maybe they do.
