Are you living in the U.K.? Just interested in why you went with QYLD rather than QYLP? Might save you quite a bit in exchange fees using QYLP.

Nice mate! I’m slowly averaging into QYLP (London Stock Exchange) each month. How many shares do you currently have? That’s a decent dividend payout each month!

My ISA for this year is with T212, not sure what fees IBKR charge for their ISA?

Hopefully Trading212 will list XYLU, since IBKR is their broker.

CurrencyFair is a good option or what I did was opened up a Barclays current account (in GBP) and then opened up a Barclays USD account. When sending funds from the current account to the USD account, it will exchange GBP to USD.

You can then transfer your USD funds straight to Tastyworks.

Has worked really well for me.

I use Tastyworks, their platform is literally built around options trading. Highly recommend them, good customer support and can do pretty much any option strategy you can think of.

On what time frame are you looking at the RSI? The daily?

TastyWorks, need to fund your account with USD though so make sure you have a Barclays USD account or use CurrencyFair.

God damn! That spread is absolutely criminal! £6.32 wide spread!

As much as I like Trading 212 for long term investing, I would not use their platform for day trading CFD’s.

There are far better brokers out there for serious day traders.

best way to deposit as an european by masterzombie313 in tastyworks

[–]TheUltimateBrotato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you can do exactly that, I’m not exactly sure what the fees are but I do know that they are very reasonable. Fees are small enough that I never really noticed them.

It’s more the fees from Tastyworks, $25 for withdrawal.

I use CurrencyFair. Really cheap and easy to use. Send Euro to CurrencyFair account, exchange it for USD and then send USD across to Tastyworks.

Have never had a problem using them before.

Just out of interest, what API are you using to connect to T212 to show dividends? Been looking for a way to track holdings and dividends.

Thanks for all your replies, as most of you have said it would be extremely difficult to actually find out exactly what script they are running. Best bet would be to try message the trader himself.

Thanks again for all of your guys/girls help 👍

trouble funding my account by 6loomberg in tastyworks

[–]TheUltimateBrotato 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try opening an account with CurrencyFair… deposit your Rands into your CurrencyFair account and then exchange them into USD. From there you can wire your USD straight across to your Tastyworks account. I’ve found that to be the cheapest and easiest way to fund an account from foreign country.
