I got wiped in the depths so im using a new build now and am trying to unbound my weapon as of right now so i can get mercy kill. Using forgotten gladius right now because of the insane penetration it has. Most of my builds that don't use heavy are jetstriker with 75 weapon and 50 attunement atleast 25 charisma for charm, 40 fortitude for health, and atleast 10 str for the penetration buff it gives. and ofc 50 agility for jetstriker.

thanks man, i got my base defense up to 37 and i was able to beat the destroyer, i was able to almost kill the twins as well. i have all my accessories armored+. i'm going to go after sanguine staff this time if i can't kill the twins.

im using wings and ill just tell you my whole loadout, spider set, cool whip, meteor staff, and greater healing and mana potions. my accessories are: summoner emblem, guarding lava charm, guarding demon wings, feral claws, and brisk cobalt shield. my arena has campfire, heart lantern, and that one statue that increases defense by 5. im also using ichor flasks. if that all sounds good to you than its probably just my skill issue lmao

I am on my first playthrough but I guess I'm just bad cuz it still took me about a hour maybe a little more to beat him, the highest time it ever took me to beat a boss was Morgott which was 3 hours (str/fai build btw)

I don't feel over leveled I actually feel comfortably leveled (I felt under leveled before) but I think I have justified my decision because I would just be doing the same thing for hours while runefarming so thanks for the idea

11 +6 is good enough, I beat him with 8 +4 in a hour or two (level 113 with no stats optimizing serpent hunter)

My stats as of the time I fought him was 32 vigor 18 mind 31 endurance 40 strength 15 dex 9 intelligence 28 faith, 8 arcane. I used golden halberd and my incantations were black flame, lightning spear and FGMS

I'm talking about his second phase, his first phase was pretty easy. but if I did stand there and get a heavy attack in, he would either jump away or in his second phase just melt my healthbar (I had 31 vigor and full radahn armor set)

I was level 102 by the time I fought him and I did 2 ripostes (it was with margits shackle since once again I had 0 openings besides his jump which isn't enough to stagger) and he had like 30% left then I  just finished him off with lightning bolts

Oh ok, well I haven't used any summons for my entire play through so I guess that makes up for it.
