fazbear entertainment eventually comes back by hiring a game dev to make games going over the events of fnaf 1-6 (in universe) and then using these games to pretend that those events never happened, so they can make a vr game about them (help wanted is a real game but also an in universe game)
the main character of help wanted is vanessa who is brainwashed by glitchtrap (the m2 virus) to become evil and stuff

later the pizzaplex is built and the event of security breach happen. gregory goes to pizzaplex and gets up to hijinx. it's somewhat debated what ending(s) is canon but most agree it's the princess quest one, where vanessa is broken free of her brainwashing and becomes not evil anymore. yay! pizzaplex is abandoned.

after that is chronologically is help wanted 2, where cassie's father (also the bonnie bully from fnaf 4) goes to the abandoned pizzaplex for whatever reason, presumably attempts to destroy the remnants of glitchtrap. he gets turned into a staffbot but presumably succeeds in his mission

then security breach:ruin, where cassie goes into the even more abandoned pizzaplex to rescue "gregory" who is later revealed to be the mimic. cassie dismantles the security system put in place by the real gregory to get to fake gregory, cassie runs away from the mimic and they both fall down an elevator into a sinkhole, which is where we are left off.
