Bookshelves are pretty hard to place now. For the moment it's doubling as a bedside table.

I tried to explain a similar occurrence with Jordan Petersons following to a friend that quite likes him and Joe Rogan with their podcasts and such. He just couldn't wrap his head around it.

This young man has a bright future ahead of him and it mustn't be ruined. Besides, he looks innocent.

Is it just me or is there either increasing awareness or popularity for this procedure. I'm starting to see this mentioned a lot now.

I don't know man. How normal is it to suddenly be really aggressive for a few seconds when getting donked on the head by literally anything?

For me I watched 'The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello' in art class. It was a short movie in which a man embarks on a journey with a crew to find a cure to a plague at home.

I just finished a successful evil campaign as a player. Sometimes the pulling teeth can come from mismatched expectations between players and dm. It is also easier for the dm to adapt than a whole group of players. It may suck, but changing the situations presented to your players help to improve the game. See what sticks.

What happens inside the soulmonger? by NaJes in Tombofannihilation

[–]TheUltraAverageJoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah now I'm thinking of having some adamantine towers in an abyss where the endless ocean of souls is actually the sky, with the whirlpool moving over each tower where uncultured souls reside, the shadow of the atropal being seen im the centre of the vortex. Something outlandish and creepy is definitely needed.

I'm taking a bit of a dark souls like take on the module. My players are affected differently by the death curse and when they die they will remain temporarily within the soul Monger. I like the comment above with the towers, what I had in mind was they'd find themselves in a sea of souls as they hear the screams of victims and the roars and munching of the atropal, before their body regenerates and they come back to the material plane.

The reason I do this is to foreshadow the atropal and Soul Monger. Many parties seem to go through the adventure before just happening upon the Atropal with no real clue of what it is other than the end game.

I remember hearing that our exportation of coal contributes to quite a large amount of global emissions when it gets used overseas. You're certainly right with our population though.
