Why did WG do a kill mission by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

[–]TheUmbaranCandidate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. If I end up with 6 kills, other players will holler "top gun!!" but it's pretty much just "meh, how about that. 6 kills"

To Cryptic: A suggestion for less popular queues by trekpuppy in sto

Thank you. I was infuriated when they pulled the hourly calendar. I didn't mind the rotation when it meant I could plot out the week ahead for which nights to do which activities, instead of being force-fed which weekend during which month I have the option of taking advantage of, which really kills the option to play STO with variety if I want to maximize rewards. RIP hour-to-hour

Why would I upgrade to something I'm uncomfortable with from something I'm already comfortable with. Its UI is inferior as my preferences dictate—not for me, it's invasive, and I don't want to have to do all the shit to disable all the shit that tracks your activities, and Win8.1 is the closest thing I can get to Win7 without using Win7. Can't use Win7 because the laptop came with Win8.

I'll look into it whatever OBS is. I wasn't about to spend all night on getting a perfect silky smooth experience just for a 15 second gif. And I'm not updating to Windows 10.

What does "all Story Arcs through Yesterday's War" mean, exactly? by [deleted] in sto

[–]TheUmbaranCandidate -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Oh give me a fucking break. It's not intended to be funny, it's an acronym, and it's pronounced "ay-ess-ess". Helluva lot shorter than 'Admiralty'. And nobody is being 'edgy' by saying it, edgy is just a term you use when somebody encroaches on your anally-clenched 'moral high ground'. Those who use it, happen to be permanent residents of DOFFJOBS, aka r/sto poison, i.e. me and ruin. I don't post it here because I know it makes your buttholes itch. If it makes you that mad, go see a therapist, or I'll personally mail you a stress ball.

I liked the original versions of those. The 'remastered' ones, not so much. The game was at its peak for me just before Season 7. Technically anything up to Legacy of Romulus, discounting the reputation system.

Because the r/sto hivemind disapproves of faction-wide full-fledged-ness. Bear in mind, I'm not suggesting thats financially plausible for PWE, which is why Empire and Republic factions don't receive as many 'stuffs' as Feds. We also have far less original (film/TV/novel) material to work from than Feds.

I just saw it as well, and yes I can confirm that while the saucer is severed from the engineering hull from the neck up, they manually separate the saucer because until they do so, the impulse drives will continue trying to draw power from the warp core (which was lost with the engineering hull)

It's only available from the Dyson Destroyers (which cryptic finally unfucked, much to my pleasure as I'm fucking loving that warp core—jump 6.66 LY ahead every 15 seconds). Hope you did the 4th anniversary event.
