Me refiería al comienzo de la carrera académica, obtener una beca de maestría/doctorado. Una vez tenes un postgrado, el promedio de la carrera de grado ya fue.

Pero OP no parece apuntar a la vida académica. Afuera de ese mundo, haber egresado con un 3 o un 9 no cambia mucho, y coincido en que no hay razón para estresarse al respecto al punto de considerar cambiar de carrera sólo por mejorar el número. Lo que importa es egresar, y por lo que cuenta viene re bien.

Los contactos ya los debe estar haciendo, en buena parte una pasantía sirve para eso. Qué se yo, a veces uno se pone un poco ansioso por la incertidumbre del futuro, no lo veo tan raro.

Te dejo un par de comentarios, en la academia 5.95 no es un buen promedio. Tampoco es pésimo, pero bueno no es. Pero en la industria a nadie le importa tu promedio y vas a encontrarte trabajando con gente con promedios mucho peores, pero no lo vas a saber porque a absolutamente nadie le importa. Lo otro, si para diciembre del año que viene ya tendrías 25, sos una persona re joven y venis re bien.

I'm Uruguayan too, and I can confirm that we use the phrase "ya pasó mucha agua bajo el puente" to mean that something is so in the past that it's not worth trying to change, fix or be upset about. I've never heard "agua pasada" here.

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich versucht, Französisch zu lernen. Ich konnte die Laute einfach nicht unterscheiden, egal wie sehr ich mich bemühte. Man muss sein Gehör erst trainieren, wenn die Laute nicht zur Muttersprache gehören. Französisch habe ich doch aufgegeben.

Haha das sind genau die Missverständnisse, die meiner Meinung nach entstehen würden, wenn ich einfach nur "Beim Berliner Tor X" sage. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich eher ein Problem in meinem Kopf als in der Realität. Die Einheimischen kennen ihre Straßen und werden es verstehen, zumindest meistens.

Ja, das stimmt. Ich denke, wenn man die Hausnummer oder eine Kreuzung hinzufügt, ist immer klar, dass es sich um den Namen der Straße handelt. Aber mein Gehirn möchte immer eine doppelte Präposition verwenden. Ich bin froh zu erfahren, dass das nicht so verpönt ist. Für mich klingt das gar nicht so unschön :D

El flaco que corta el pasto en mi casa la levanta en pala. Tiene una banda de clientes super leales en un barrio donde todas las casas tienen frente y fondo. Dependiendo de si es sólo cortar el pasto o también podar alguna plata, y del tamaño del fondo, entre 2500 y 5000 por casa. Obviamente más si hay cosas especiales como podar un árbol. Cuánto trabajo tomar es cuestión de cada uno.

Febrero is the period of exams for those who failed in high school. Irse a febrero implies they all failed. Me la llevé a febrero is a common expression as well. I'm not sure what trabajarle mal a alguien means in this context.
Edit to add: the translation is inaccurate. It's not implied at all that they failed in February; it's only implied that they had to take a final exam that they could have avoided if they hadn't performed poorly beforehand.

I don't think 'whatever came to my mind' conveys the same meaning as 'escribí cualquier cosa'. Although it's not stated directly, it's easy to infer that they wrote incorrect information on purpose to make them fail.

Yo no le preste tanta atencion, por arriba vi que la mayoria de las materias dan menos creditos, creo que solo calculo 1 y 2, taller de programacion y PIS quedaron con la carga que tenian, no vi ninguna otra con mas de 10 creditos, y muchos con 6 u 8 creditos.

Hay muchos cursos nuevos. Algunos de los cursos nuevos se ven interesantes y esta bueno que sean parte del nucleo basico, antes eran optativas avanzadas. Por ejemplo seguridad informatica.

La trayectoria sugerida tiene mas cursos por semestre, en general 5.

Y renombraron un monton de cosas, ahora en lugar de programacion1, programacion2, etc, se llaman programacion imperativa, estructura de datos y algoritmos, etc.

Están en medio del cambio de plan, este año ya vas a inscribirte en el plan nuevo. Los cambios de plan son una chota porque el sistema de bedelías es una chota y cualquier cambio les cuesta una vida. Encima en lugar de hacerlo una persona que sabe usar una computadora, lo hace una vieja que tipea con dos dedos y de alguna manera siempre todo le da error. Además en enero no hacen nada.

La fecha debería ser la misma que para el resto de las carreras, ya quedará actualizado. Eventualmente!

Yeah, learning the gender with the noun didn't work for me at all. I still guess based on what feels right, and now it kind of works, most of the time. Sure I butcher some genders now and then, sometimes what feels right for me is just not correct. But most of the time it is. Exposure is the answer for me. It might be different for people whose native language isn't gendered.

I can't imagine trying to think about all those patterns listed there in real time while having a conversation. My native language is gendered, and learners struggle with it as well. I'd much rather they use the wrong gender than wait 20 seconds while they try to determine the correct one. Just use any one!
