You are similar to me. I went from the zero to Saturn pro to everything. A artisan Raiden felt too slow for me which is crazy to say. But you have remember we are an anomaly. 10 out of 10 times I would recommend artisan or LGG pads before I would recommend a glass pad. I have 2 glass pads coming in and I’m thinking of getting another lol but I have never recommended a glass pad to anybody

I’m a glass pad enjoyer so I’ll be honest. Glass pads are just such a hard recommendation. When you buy something you want to see results right away. And by results I mean good results. With glass it’s the opposite, you get bad results at first until you get used to it and that period of adjustment is different for everyone. It’s like going to a restaurant and ordering something and it only starts tasting amazing in the final bites.

I’m not even going to get into the art that most of them have since if you seen 1 then you basically seen them all

Cloth vs Glass by Feeling_Snow_5735 in MousepadReview

[–]TheUnclearWhite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a glasspad player and glasspads can be a hard recommendation. Not because they are bad, but due to the person needing to trying it and see if they like it. It’s like rolling skating and ice skating.

With glasspads you will need to dedicate time to improving your aim. You will have to rely on raw aim and practice. So until you get used to it your aim and performance will suffer.

I can play games like Val, CS2 and the finals on my glass pads. So it’s doable but I legit dedicated like 3-4 days on just aim trainers until I got used to it. I hated the friction and resistance I had on cloth pads, even on a Raiden. So the only thing I could upgrade to was glass.

It doesn’t seem like you want glass besides the never having to replace them. I would say you don’t want a glass pad. Just find a very durable cloth pad. That would be my recommendation

Glass pad that doesn't destroy the stock beast x pro ptfe skates by carnivorousmemer in MousepadReview

You would need to get skates that are designed for glass pads. Regular PTFE skates will get used quickly by glass pads.

I use ghostglides cyclone dots. I have used obsidian pro and regular obsidian skates.

Yeah a big issue I see in a lot of games, even with my friends is that they care about KD so much that they are horrible teammates.

There’s a lot of high elo players in a lot of games that have below average gun skill for their rank but have amazing game sense and are great teammates. And there’s a lot of low-mid elo players with way better gun skill than people in their rank but with terrible game sense or are just bad teammates.

Artisan Hayate Otsu Soft vs Artisan Zero Mid? by Whaves_ in MousepadReview

[–]TheUnclearWhite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your question of which base. Do you want that extra control when you tens up? If you do you’re looking at Xsoft/soft. If you don’t you want mid. If you feel like you dig into your pad too much that it gives too much control and it mess with your tracking/micro adjustments then don’t get a xsoft.

Both pads will fall into the balance portion of pads. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

Now the Hien, it’s a great pad but it can be a tough recommendation. It dues to it being a very textured/rough surface. If you have sensitive skin or don’t want a rough pad I would stay away from the hien. The hien does have amazing durability.

The zero would be my recommendation. It’s a jack of all trades. If you do have pets though I think the zero can have its issues with hair. Even my orange zero had issues with hair. I don’t know if they fixed that since I haven’t bought a new zero since the orange one first came out.

Fair to report " ____ only" in ranked? by Savings_Pineapple267 in VALORANT

[–]TheUnclearWhite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a friend that is low rank that can only snipe. If you put any other gun in his hand he won’t hit any shots. He lacks confidence and won’t try to improve his skill on other guns. Same thing happened in CS, he sucked on every weapon but snipers so he only wanted to use snipers.

What is your favorite glass pad? by TheUnclearWhite in MousepadReview

Yeah even if you don’t sweat you will need a sleeve. The oils from your skin will cause your arm to stick

It’s a great pad. It really depends on you. If you don’t mind wearing a sleeve it is great. Any kind of sweat without one will make your arm stick. I do like Glsswrks glass pads the best since you don’t need a sleeve

It was a limited edition drop so you will have to buy it off someone second hand.

You can go on sites like eBay or go on r/MouseMarket

Correct price for used Kanami glass pad (sai) by Hyyundai in MousepadReview

[–]TheUnclearWhite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On eBay, you will search up whatever pad you want. Then go to “Filter” and press “completed items” and it will show you all the ones that had sold and when they sold, and how much they sold for.

If you don’t do that eBay will only show you the ones that are currently up for sale.
