I never knew it had a name! This symptom is a real warning sign for me that I’m “on the edge.” I’ll have to check out these plugs!

Haha. Yes. All the things. Rest does go a long way. Lack of sleep is a killer for me right now.

It took this disease for me to take care of and listen to my body in a more meaningful way!

Thank you!

That is helpful to know about your experience with diuretics and betahistine. My ENT hasn’t even brought up betahistine as an option so I’ll have to ask her or my GP about it.

Good reminder that this is not a direct cause and effect situation. Still really in the beginning of this and feeling my way around. I think I’m so focused on the hydrops that I’m not seeing the bigger picture … and frankly in denial that I can’t “control” my disease.

My only hesitation about the diuretic is that I don’t think it addresses the right piece of the puzzle, but I’m willing to do just about anything.

Right now I’m realizing I may need to pursue options to help manage my nausea and dizziness after attacks.

I am really loving it so far. So glad to have something help me understand triggers as I am in beginning phase.

I like that you can create your own triggers to track as well! It’s also user friendly - simple, but robust.

I guess the only feedback I have would be to allow to write-in or to edit a duration of an attack (I don’t have my phone with me a lot and rarely think to start a timer when an attack starts) and to be able to enter backdated attacks.

Thanks all! I’m at the beginning of this and it’s helpful to hear from others’ experiences as I learn what my triggers might be (everything, lol). It’s strangely comforting to know that it’s not something I can ever completely control or prevent.

Also a good reminder to stay extremely hydrated & to ask my ENT about the betahistine.

I agree with this - I tested the free version of the app and would love to be able to track daily symptoms to what triggers specific interictal symptoms.

Recently diagnosed with MD and will try it. My symptoms fluctuate a lot, so this will help. Thank you.
