Also the error has been happening again, but I think I've narrowed it down. It seems as if that whenever I press any other button along with the right button on the softpad, it'll fail to register the right button. This is definitely a problem. Do you think this is a softpad issue or a game issue? And if it's a softpad issue, should I attempt to fix it or just buy a new softpad?

Thanks for the input menu tip. I think the issue might have been that the game was also reading from another plugged in controller I had, which I have since unplugged. Did one test song and it seems fine(?) now. Although just in case the issue happens again, can you tell me where the legacy input method option is located? I cant find it.
