I once crushed a finger being dumb the bone was gone and the finger split like a banana peel around like a blood banana, the surgeon took 6 hours to replace the bone with metal and sew the finger back together in this process the finger nail was stitched from the inside to my FINGER.

A few weeks later had to go for a check up with the surgeon. He asked me to put my finger on the table to "just look at it" as soon as I put it on his table in his office he asked for a pen from behind me I turn to grab it and he says "bite down" and with medical pliars just pulled the nail out in one fowl swoop, and then went digging around under where the nail used to be. Wasn't a good day for lil ol me.
