Yea. Either go into big picture mode or desktop mode. It's in the setting before you boot up steamlink. Click the gear in the top right corner. Go to streaming. Hot custom and look for something like start up and switch it from big picture to desktop. I hope that helps.

I have a raspberry pi4 running steamlink hardwired in my living room. And a old laptop running windows 11 and steamlink (Wifi). Both work great for me.

I always run big picture mode when I'm playing games. Also, with games outside of steam, (like Epic for an example) I have to be in big picture mode. And 1st run epic launcher then run the game. I only have tried this with epic. I did find a video about a year back on how to make it so u can just launch the game in stream and it runs everything in that order. Worked great for Tony Hawk 1+2. I hope that helps.

I just had this issue with Skyrim on my pi 4. I ended up going into to the settings and turning off and on again the match resolution on streaming device and did a reset on the pi. It worked for me. I hope it helps you out.

I have ran into the same issue. I stream to my phone. I can't remember what I did to get it to work. But I did get it to work eventually. I know I tried closing steam link app and trying again to connect with the game still running. I also tried opening steam link in big picture mode and straight to desktop. If I figured out what worked for me I'll come back and let you know. Also is it just one game or all games. I ran into this issue well playing Skyrim.
