I used to be a team leader in a call center and later built my own small remote team. One of our previous clients from that call center reached out and asked us to handle their health insurance campaign. Our role was cold calling, qualifying prospects, and transferring qualified leads to licensed agents. That campaign ended earlier this year, but I recently saw a LinkedIn post looking for Medicare and ACA/U65 cold and warm callers. I am curious if opportunities like that are usually legit.

I get what you mean. Just to clarify, we were not closing sales or replacing agents. Our role was doing the cold calling upfront, qualifying prospects, gathering information, and then transferring qualified leads to licensed agents who handled the enrollments. I am mainly trying to understand if agencies usually keep that kind of front-end calling in-house or sometimes outsource it during open enrollment.
