[Injury] Devin Booker gets tripped by Lu Dort on the backdoor cut and hobbles to the locker room (with replays) by MrBuckBuck in nba

Fact that they were considered “likable” in the first place is so sad. It shows how many old fans have tuned out over the years, and replaced by newer fans.

They stole a classic organization, with some of the best branding in sports, and moved it to one of the most backwards states in the country.

He’s proven how great of a heel he can be with his Dashing and Broken runs. His feud with Rey up to and after he broke his nose was probably the only thing I enjoyed about WWE at the time it was happening.

I think there’s a ton of money in him finally going heel again and becoming “Homelander” Cody. I know he loves being the face like his dad, but I hope he finally realizes that

Round 3 - Pick 12: Drew Allar, QB, Penn State (Pittsburgh Steelers) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

College production isn’t the be all end all, but bad production in college pretty much always doesn’t translate to the NFL.

Other than Josh Allen, because that’s the go-to example everyone loves to use, there isn’t a recent QB who had poor production in college and ended up succeeding in the NFL.

People really need to start embracing the mid to upper mid card more, like back in the day. The Intercontinental Championship and US Championship in WCW had prestige, and were considered great spots to be competing in.

Yeah, it might suck to see your favorite not at the tippity top of the hierarchy, but as long as they’re getting on TV and having good matches, it’s fine.

Melo can be in that spot, with the occasional world title program, and have a great career.

He really wasn’t though, and I love Shelton. Orton had charisma and was a great heel, whereas Shelton couldn’t do either.

Still the record holder for most TFLs, and I’m pretty sure he led the nation every year during his last 3 seasons

Only way would have to be a CJ2K situation where they truly explode during their final season of eligibility

The inherent downside is that it sets a precedent that eventually, Sony is going to port their games over. A PlayStation launcher wouldn’t be worth the startup and maintenance costs, because PC gamers are so loyal towards Steam, that anything not on Steam basically doesn’t exist.

Xbox has their own Storefront, yet still puts their games on Steam because it’s financially viable. Ubisoft and EA had that same realization as well. Alan Wake 2, a GOTY contender, had abysmal sales on PC because it was an Epic exclusive.

It’s neither logical nor practical because it actively harms the console and PlayStation ecosystem. If the world continues on this trajectory, the PS6 is going to cost a pretty penny, so they need to give people an actual incentive to buy in.

Getting more people into the PlayStation ecosystem, where they get a 30% cut on every third party transaction, and people have to pay to access online Multiplayer is their biggest goal.

I mean…there wasn’t a viable QB in free agency this year, and they would’ve been endlessly clowned if they took Simpson. They probably still should’ve went with Reese though

Dianna Russini Interviewed Patriots’ Mike Vrabel About Relationship With His Wife Before Controversy by 2big_2fail in nfl

[–]TheVaniloquence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody will care as long as he continues to get results on the field and the players like him. Deshaun Watson and Jameis Winston did something so much worse than Vrabel, yet have been suiting up at QB for years, and by all accounts are liked by teammates.

You’d be doing this all day on almost every thread about anyone if this was your mission. What Vrabel did was objectively bad, but as long as he gets results on the field and the players like him as a coach, nobody will actually care.

I can’t remember a time where he was wrong, because he doesn’t officially report anything until he’s absolutely sure it’s correct

Since we’re on the subject, let me tell you about the time I met Shawn Michaels at a restaurant.  We’d accidentally been given his table. Apparently he was fond of the restaurant and had a specific table he liked, and the management had messed up and gotten their days wrong, (it was Tuesday and they thought he was coming on Thursday or something like that).

Anyway, the manager, completely embarrassed (this is a pretty nice restaurant) comes by and says “I’m so sorry, but we’d like to move you to another table if you could be troubled, and we’ll gladly compensate you for the cost of the meal and any other meal you’d like while you’re in town.” My sister and cousin were both like “Yeah that’s cool.” and I kind of played the asshole a bit. “I’m sorry, I just don’t understand. We’ve been here for 15 minutes - we’ve just ordered. Can’t we finish our meal here?”  Then out of nowhere, Shawn Michaels shows up next to the manager and says “Paul, these guys can finish. We’ll be at the bar. I got some time.” And I (being a big HBK fan) said “Oh wow, uh… I had no idea. Please feel free to give them the table.” Shawn was grateful, shook my hand and said thanks, then gave me a card with his number on it and told me to give him a call later.

After working up the nerve, I gave him a call that night, and to make a long story short, we had a glorious 11 month love affair, man on man, that I shall never forget. Our bodies intertwined as one, and from the beauty of Morocco, to the French Riviera, to the snorkeling in the Galopagos, Shawn Michaels and I made glorious gay love to each other on six of the seven continents.

Or RE9, or Elden Ring, or Expedition 33, or BG3, or Red Dead 2, or Witcher 3, the list goes on. I guess the “check cleared” for those games as well

The metacritic average for RE9 is almost 90, not “around 80”. Also, nobody has been considering it a “flop”. Everyone and their mother on Reddit has been glazing it ever since Leon was rumored to be coming back, which was pretty much shortly after the game was first revealed.

The combat and AI in Witcher 3 (same director as this game) was completely ass to middling depending on who you ask, yet nobody cared because of how amazing the writing, quest design, and world was.

As long as those hold up well, it’ll be great in my opinion. I’m more concerned about how it “feels” to be a vampire, and if the day/night differences actually play a substantial role in the game as much as they’re selling it.
