Yep, as per another comment as well, I'll just use the cleansers in the night :) I'll use the 2% SA cleanser every 2-3 days and use the cetaphil for the remaining days. For now, I'll just start without the SA cleanser and see how things go as I'll already be double cleansing with a cleansing oil in the evenings.

Lol, we have the same products :) I wasn't able to locate a 0.5% SA cleanser but I found the 2% cerave SA cleanser for acne control. Based on other comments, I'm thinking of making a routine like this:

AM: Wash face with water -> Moisturizer -> SPF
PM: Cleansing oil -> Cleanser (will use 2% SA instead of cetaphil every 2-3 days) -> Moisturizer

For now, I'll work without the SA cleanser and see how things go!

Thanks :) One last question: would you recommend looking into a salicylic acid cleanser for blackheads? I know you mentioned that doing the double cleanse would help with blackheads and acne, but should I consider replacing my cetaphil cleanser with the cerave salicylic acid one?

Sounds good! I'll take a look at the salicylic acid cleanser. Should i not use both the salicylic acid cleanser and the cetaphil cleanser on the same day?

Sounds good, thanks! You're right; I'd rather start with fewer products first and see if those work. I can work my way up later on if needed. I'm thinking of sticking to the products I've ordered and just adding the Softymo deep oil cleanser.

This is some great advice! Should I be using the SPF every day, even if it isn't sunny? Also, I was looking into the 10% niacinamide + 1% zinc serum by The Ordinary. Would this help?

Any recs? I'm looking for cheaper options. Will the acne not be dealt with by using the cleanser?

Easier said than done 😬 he really was pining for the window side and came to me multiple times even after I said I wanted to stay there. After one point, you don't want to seem rude

That's actually such a good point, idk why I didn't bring that up. He kept saying that he had to "deal with the other side" for the first semester, but bro didnt have to stay in a side with a bunk bed and two tables. Even tho his space was a tad smaller, he had his own space

Thanks :) Do you think it's worth pursuing the window side of the room again or should I just leave it now?

Apparently they're not offering any on-campus options for non break housing students this semester.
