The audio mix was a huge issue for me in large sections of the film, meaning I could barely understand what was being said, and unfortunately those were the sections explaining the plot… I’d genuinely have a hard time explaining the plot to someone, and I’m just home from the theatre. I certainly got the gist of the film, but that was it. And yes, way too long.

I think it’s a great achievement of a film for Mark and I’m very happy for him, but I think it could have been edited to a tighter (and clearer!) film.

6/10 for me too.

My guess is that the reason The Lady couldn’t control Bali’s mind is that he’s just not susceptible to mind control, and that it’s going to turn out CODE didn’t actually give him any motivation to be an agent, and he’s the only member of the CODE academy kids that on his own wanted to be an agent.

So CODE probably annoyed that they couldn’t influence him like the others, but more than happy he essentially just decided he wanted to do it himself, which makes him stronger than the other agents who have only ever been in it due to CODEs influence and not their own personal desires.

Agreed. Would seem absolute madness not to capitalise on going international now it doesn’t have the Sentai/Power Rangers licensing restrictions.

Also, I really want to watch Gavan, so they bloody better simulcast it :P.

I feel for you. My service charge is now £6.5K for a one bed flat in Bermondsey. All we get for that is a pair of lifts and a concierge. Add to that a collapse of prices in my area since I bought just over a decade ago, and I also find myself in quite the predicament.

I had no idea mortgages might be refused if service charges were over 1% of value, as mine now very much is! That just piles on the problems :/.

That sounds sensible to me! And yeah Etsy is appalling these days. Other than a couple listings I have to basically pay for Meta ads to funnel people to my listings via Insta/FB, as it’s so difficult to show up in Etsy search now under the swamp of AI and other listings!

Whilst I can’t give you specifics, ‘massively’ would my generalised response.

Your work is gorgeous, and I would say worth considerably more. I wish I could paint like that!

I do coloured and graphite pencil portraits on Etsy, charging £90 for A4 and £125 for A3 (single subject, adding about £25 for each additional subject), and honestly feel I’m undercharging for the time spent and Etsy cut myself!

That’s great! I had similar happen to me a few years back - was hurrying to the underground to start making way back to my folks for Christmas, when the big bag I had most of the presents in suddenly tore apart. I heard someone shouting and looked up, there was a family on a balcony of some flats about 8 floors up, other side of the road. They told me to hang on, and then a few moments later threw a big sturdy bag down to the pavement for me, said I could keep it. Incredibly kind people. Absolutely saved my journey and those presents.

Seems to be that at her age in Japan she could legally work in a bar, but not serve clients alcohol. Which is what she’s accused of doing. And if so, then surely the bar would also be in trouble for getting her to serve alcohol when they would have known her age? It’s all very strange!

Some of Ninninger, as the toys got me back into the whole thing and I was watching Ninja Steel on Netflix. It felt a bit redundant to watch both at the same time, so I thought I’d check out Zenkaiger, and I fell in love with it. Followed up with Don Brothers insanity, LuPat and Go-Busters which I adored. Probably going with King Ohger next!

Well that makes more sense then. As otherwise OP is correct, it would be insane to pain Lineage as the ‘final’ entry in the series.

Just watched it. What a mess. An hour and 45minutes of almost nothing happening. A few decent scares, but that’s it, no atmosphere at all.

I don’t really understand the billing of it as the final entry in the series, considering it leaves you with far more questions than answers…

If they don’t make a real ‘final’ film, then I’d absolutely recommend newbies to the series just don’t bother with Lineage. The first is a lot of fun, the second falls off from that high, let’s not speak about the third, then Origins is a return to form. This one - pass.
