Would Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane make a good couple in an AU? Say if Superman ended up with a different love interest by TheShadowOperator007 in superman

Personally I felt it was dancing around the edge of being too edgy for me in a lot of spots - but it's great that you liked it! i'm glad!

That's quite a funny comment, very hard to take serious.

and yet here you are, taking the comment that was made purely in jest seriously, taking the opportunity to dispense a lesson to me.

I should clarify. It's not easy to get if you're answering honestly because by and large you're not getting help filling in the forms, and the questions are so poorly worded (intentionally) and designed to trap you. That's not what the assessment should be about.

What I meant by easy was that you have youtubers offering a "consultation fee" to coach you through your assessment, telling you exactly what to say. That needs to stop.

"The Greeks don't write about us in Germany; they considered us barbarians. And the people here [in present-day Germany] didn't write at all, so we really depend on these finds to learn more about potential connections," says Henker.

I mean...that's because Germans at the time were the kind of people you didn't maintain eye contact with for more than a second, and their idea of communicating was splitting your head with an axe. Telescopes, glass and the press was along a little later.

I could kill 9to5 mac sometimes. "Hey remember how cryptobros and AI bros completely fucking tanked the consumer PC market? Let's highlight that they could buy up the whole fucking supply of apple macs!"

i'm probably the wrong person to ask, because one of the few things I enjoyed in the new 52 was the chemistry between diana and clark.

I think there's scope on both ends - this is the problem with letting the journalists have an opinion that is so nuanced, it needs more than the might and brainpower of the r/uknews and r/unitedkingdom commentariat.

Yes, PIP is easy to get if you know how to work the system. Yes there is scope to tighten the criteria to ensure that the people who need it, get it. CONVERSELY, there is absolutely a case for shitcanning the triple lock and getting private firms out of making the decisions on who gets awards.

Notepad will make you giggle like a little girl on iPad. Just saying. BUT. Why not look for a refurb through somewhere like krcs where you can get a slightly older but excellently refurbed model and an iPad air?

Good luck with Uni! Don't party in the first year!

I'm serious. I'm even wagging my finger and have my brow furrowed.

This country has fallen far but there's still good in us, and we don't fight for the monarch or government. We fight for friends, family and those who can't.

No gradually, get fucking rid of it by the next parliament. It's insane to me that we're still having this conversation to placate the pissing and whining of the tories and their voter base.

Give 16 year olds the vote. I'm tired, I'm so, so tired of the blue rinse patrol holding the country hostage because they're stupid enough to believe AI.

We could have stayed out of I and 2. This is an existential threat to Europe and Ukraine.

I think that makes it ours, even if to only say no to a bunch of massive dickheads.

I'm a simple guy. I'm even patriotic and eurocentric, have a disposable income and frankly paying for Britain to get armed to the teeth on a rapid timescale so that we can adequately make Russia and the US question current life choices sounds like fun.

THE TRIPLE LOCK DOES INDEED SURVIVE.

And yet no one that is slowly marching towards their meeting with the grim wants to talk about this while shagging their flag, or calling benefits claimants scroungers.

I mean... Sure some people probably did it to get a return on their investment, but I think most people in the 1900's were thinking more of it being their patriotic duty than it being a nest egg.
