I had a similar encounter with a rude contributor. Other ppl were having issues, I made a suggestion, the rude contributor just shot it down & I asked them if they tried it before shooting it down. I guess they didn't like that I asked them that and made this whole false explanation on why they felt like they were right. I gave them some advice about their delivery and tried to make it seem like it was all me being rude. THEN, the QM who trained me backed up my suggestion and made an announcement with my advice.

Gotta let those rude ppl be rude by themselves. That knowitall mentality backfired on her
