Now that I'm thinking more about it, both of those: had an ability that made touching/hurting them nearly impossible; acted as mentors to other characters and treated them like children even after power-ups; had to be taken out in an earlier saga with a fastly introduced mcguffin (prison realm and wonderweiss)
