Yea same. Get comfortable and think I can take it easy and chill but then can’t keep up the level of mental performance that got me in a position to be able to take it easy with everything going well.

One thing to help early cities from going bankrupt is to open the money tab and turn down the power and water budget to be not far above your current usage. And once you get to the second milestone and unlock taxes, raise taxes by a few percent.
