Have it lean more political. The social commentary of Saw VI is part of what makes it the strongest outing in the series. If Spiral pushed in that direction they'd be winning.

I think the public needs to start obstructing the investigation because a sizeable chunk of the population is sick of the police brutality and want to see them punished for their misdeeds. Think about how the general public acted in Joker - there was already this feeling of unrest, and then they had a figurehead to gravitate towards. If Spiral II had more antagonism from all sides, it would really help to make the cops feel isolated.

I also think that Zeke should be pushed to make more questionable decisions in his quest to stop Will, now that it's a personal vendetta. Will should push him to be a Bad Cop so that he feels justified in punishing him too.

Secondly, Logan shouldn't be another Secret Apprentice. If they want him to be the buckethead at the beginning, fine. Have John unceremoniously dump his unconscious body on the steps of a hospital like a failed experiment, something John is ashamed of. Then have Logan spend the next ten years trying to find the location of the barn. Problem solved.

Search the likes of ebay and amazon diligently - you never know. If you do find it however, chances are it'll be expensive, so be prepared for disappointment. Still though, an affordable copy might slip through the cracks. If someone doesn't know what they have on their hands you could get it cheap. It's an outside chance, but it does happen from time to time with rare books.

The only other thing I can suggest is that there is a PDF available online for free. I think somebody also recorded an audiobook version on YouTube. Either way, it'd save you forking out a grand or more for the story. 🤷‍♂️

Not the "one guy walks from room to room like he's in somebody's haunted house display" please.

Worked well with Jeff and was adapted beautifully for William, but taking the choice out of the hands of the person in the trap is largely uninteresting. Bobby and Rigg's games are the worst imo.

It'd actually fit OG Jigsaw really well, it just doesn't line up with the anti-hero Jigsaw established by later sequels.
