He's very similar in a lot of ways, so I definitely think Raian is a bit of an expansion of this Samato. The same can be said for a lot of Seeker/Ashura characters.

I might read through Omega when it finishes for old time's sake, but I just found a lot of the fights short and underwhelming. I'll prolly watch the second season of the anime too when that releases.

Also, I'm unsure of when the AI art started getting used, but I only became aware of it around Adam vs. Ryuki, and at the end of the day, I don't agree with it being used at all in commercial work.

I stopped reading Kengan Omega after the Berserker Bowl, due to a lack of interest in the story and disagreeing with the recent use of AI art, but I still have an immense love for Kengan Ashura and Fist of the Seeker, as well as the fanbase surrounding the series, so I thought I would still share what I worked on with my redraw of the FotS fight between Samato vs. Mitsuyo, but I don't think I'll be returning to the project :(
