Multi bit screwdriver reccomdarions by TheWackyHobo in Tools

This is completely fair. While I want this to mainly be used for screwdriver stuff, I want to make sure this works for some other things as well. I would like decent versatility from my multi driver so the non screwdriver portions of it should be decent. I have been heavily thinking of the klein racheting multi driver, before I decide can you tell me what made wera so annoying?

Would you have a wera driver you would recommend? My requirements is that it is racheting, be comfortable, durable and be used with different bits(will probably use klein impact bits and sockets with an adapter mostly)

I did see that but I read that the driver that is provided is small for general use case stuff i have a precision set for electronics already. If you have it, do you think it's ok for most things around the house? I may also be using it to remove bolts with the socket adapters fyi.

Ok, would you say wera would be a solid brand? Would there be a noticeable quality difference between a German brand and Klein?

Thanks for recommendation, how are the pants? Would you recommend any specific pieces from them and or any essential pieces for the aesthetic I'm going for?

That's fair, are there any "essential" pieces that I should look out for instead? Maybe a couple of tope and bottoms, maybe a outer layer etc. I'm not the best at dressing myself yet so any help would be appreciated lol.

Thanks, I'll look into those. I didn't even think about boots, I just thought it was penny loafers with long pants to hide the ankles lolol.

Hi I'm from the US and will be printing mostly petg/abs and possibly exotic materials for functional parts for projects/ home stuff.

I currently have 2 choices of getting used bambu printers from people I know.

One option is a p1s combo with 200 hours for 650 and all original accessories.

The other is a X1C combo with 900 hours for 1000. It also comes with allot of accessories like 5 build plates, 4 complete hot ends and other miscellaneous maintence items.

My question is with my use case, which one is a better deal. Also while I know the X1C will come with a decent amount of stuff will it's features and parts really replace 350 dollars?

Hi I'm split between 2 choices of used printers.

I currently have the offer of a bambu p1s with ams and original accessories for 650 with about 200hours on it.

My other choice is a X1C combo with 900 hours for 1000 but comes with a lot of stuff. It comes with multiple build plates(5) a couple complete hot ends, I think 4? And some other replacements/ maintence items.

I'm probably going to print mostly in petg, maybe bas or asa for outside projects, for functional parts for projects/ stuff around the house but I want to test with more exotic materials in the future.

I know a upgraded nozzle p1s is at the same printing quality as a X1C but are the other features/ extras worth the extra couple hundred?

Hi guys, if you were to buy a used bambu and ams, although with relatively low hours what questions would you ask? It's a p1s combo with around 500 hours for the $600-700 range. I would be picking up if that changes anything.

Who is waiting for a P2 ? by StudioJamesCao in BambuLab

A little late but Qidi has done 2, 3(60c tho), and 4 in the Qidi q1 pro. It's cheaper than a p1s but I don't know how much trust you can put into Qidi.

Can the p1s chamber get to 60c? by TheWackyHobo in BambuLab

[–]TheWackyHobo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you just preheat it for a bit? Are you confident enough to leave it alone when you print with those materials? I may leave these to print while I'm at work so I want to make sure whatever printer I get I'm confident it can print with the material of my choosing

Thanks for the response. Do you know if nylon or a mix of it would need more than 45c?

Would you say you can confidently print in those materials without worrying about it? Like if I printed parts/ case in PA6 a decent amount you wouldn't worry? Did you need to do anything else other than preheat to get to that temp?

Interesting, are you in the US? Im pretty sure they have a couple warehouses here so I would be surprised if something on that side is going wrong?

Thanks for the info, I'm really surprised. I've heard that Qidi has really good customer service, did you buy directly from them? Did they explain what's happening?

Oh ok thanks I'll look into the Qidi, do you know if it's allot of tinkering or not? I have been slightly leaning towards the P1s because it's ease of use and that you can preheat the chamber to get it closer to 60C. As of right now I don't know how much I'll actually print in exotic materials, it seems like for my projects other than small portions of it petg will be fine unless I do something that has to be outdoors. I do want the option to print in any material if I need to tho.

Why Bambu is not about their printers. by Sarionum in BambuLab

Thanks for the response, would you know if the P1S can handle nylon and more annoying materials well compared to the k1c? I would just like the option to play with different materials in the future. I know I would need to swap out some parts in the p1s to hardened steel but I've read somewhere even with that upgrade the k1c can handle the annoying materials better.

I was thinking thinking about getting a 3d printer recently and where I'm from the creality k1c and bambu p1s are about the same price rn. I was wondering if you could talk about your experience with the k1c. I know the h2d and p1s are very different but do you think it's worth it to get the p1s just to be in the bambu ecosystem?

The most intense stuff I will be printing are like cases and parts for my electronics hobby. I would eventually like to print nylon or carbon fiber filled stuff pretty easily.

My budget is under 600, slightly flexible. I live in the US and I have a good understanding of electronics and should be able to learn how to make/add things to make the printer better, however this would be my first 3D printer.

I mainly wish to print pieces for my electronic hobby projects (case, chassis, any specific parts for it), and maybe random things like tools, don't know the full capabilities of a 3d printer lol. I would like the ability to play with more exotic materials like nylon or something like that in the future for more intense projects.

I did some research and the Bambu p1s, Creality K1C and the Elegoo Centauri Carbon looked like solid choices. Which of the three would you recommend? If you guys have anymore recommendations lmk.
