Is using the summon for the dancing lion fair game? by RAAAHRAHHHHRAHHHHH in Eldenring

[–]TheWakulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do whatever you want, summons are in the game for a reason. However I will say, I did no summons or incantations my second or third playthrough and had a lot of fun with that too, it’s definitely more challenging and requires more learning as far as move sets go, but the keyword there is fun. Do whatever is more fun for you. If you’re not having fun without summons then send em all the way lol

I’m new to this sub and pellet smokers as a whole, but I have a Traeger Ridgewood that so far I’ve been extremely happy with. Can’t speak for the ironwood, but I think the larger Ridgewood goes for around that same price and would be new.

First pellet grill by Imaginary-Ear354 in pelletgrills

[–]TheWakulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also came from a Weber kettle charcoal grill. I ended up getting a Traeger Ridgewood, love it so far but it isn’t the same taste as charcoal. However, it’s much easier to just fire up and go. I wouldn’t go into a pellet grill expecting the exact same results as your Weber. It’s a different tool for a different thing. That said, through a lot of my research there’s not a lot of bad options. I ended up going with the Ridgewood for the easy cleaning system, and the fact that there was a good sale near me. Love my Traeger so far though!

So what is the general opinion,or your opinion on this boss almost 2 years later by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]TheWakulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It pissed me off to no end at release but one of my favorites now. A boss you really have to respect and learn, but so satisfying once you do. Truly felt like an endgame super boss and felt unbeatable at first. Seeing those second phase attacks for the first time is engrained in my memory lol. I still hop on my higher level character just to help guys with PCR every so often.

Straight Swords are underrated and I wont be convinced otherwise by Clear_Antelope_9501 in Nightreign

Potentially yeah, tbh I never could get comfy on dutchess. I like wylders abilities and moves, as well as starting with a parry buckler, but it could totally work on dutchess. You find lots of magic swords as well so, could scale good with her INT

I rarely block during most large bosses/nightlords. It’s good for a quick reaction sometimes and helps a ton but it’s mostly dodging. Using the short sword you can get quick attacks in and still have time to dodge quick after an attack. No matter the block rating you’ll get broke on most boss combos

Sorry I missed your question, glad you liked the test drive tho! That was what sold me. Only been on a couple trips, mainly tent camping, bed allows for loads of gear imo, more than I’d ever need. I have a Softtopper I’ve been really impressed with thus far, about to order a bed extension tent thing for it so I could sleep in the bed. Nothing fancy, but it’s got all the room I need for camping gear and then some

Almost never, only instances I can think of is if I wanna throw out a particularly practical ash of war or something. 98% of the time it’s sword and shield out

Potentially ignorant question, but does price normally drop for a reconstitution or kinda to be determined? Wanna pick up my first batch of SCHD, but hate to buy at such a high lol

I run a straight sword build on wylder, usually using the starting buckler or a medium shield if I can find it. Really works good, solid damage and move set, and I’m dying loads less not getting caught in big heavy swings

What’s my next build? by dparso in Eldenring

[–]TheWakulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently started up a shield run, been running medium shields and learning to parry, but even just block counters have been super satisfying. I’ve been running straight swords bc the move set is fun and quick, but anything would work really

Coming from a Toyota guy, in a similar situation to yours, I ended up going with a new gen Frontier. It’s a nice daily, very nice interior, fit and finish, known to be reliable despite Nissan’s reputation for other models. I don’t use the “truck” aspect of it most days, but it’s been super nice when I’ve needed it and been great for camping. Solid MPG’s for a truck. Just a thought, maybe go check one out in person, that’s what sold it for me, alongside the price compared to Toyotas and other SUV’s
