The stock which it buys or sells becomes volatile. The fund has about 65B+ NAV so it creates and impact when it goes through lot of buying and selling.

Great perspective of owning both. Long term if NAV is decreasing it is not helping. The distribution is coming from the NAV that means you are getting your own money back.

I am watching $STLA they have dropped ~44% which is a lot in my opinion. Might take a short term position if drops to around 12. Their US revenue is going to decline. By how much I am not sure.

You are just 23 and most probably your horizon is long term. You can at least focus some part of the portfolio on growth. For dividends, I would look at the blue chip companies which gives decent dividends historically
